"Called Burke and Sons to replace a ruptured how water heater, they were prompt in getting over but not much else was good. Two very young guys came over and did the work. They were not very professional but the job got done, so I didn't really care. I never really check the area where the heater is, and today I was in that closet and it's a mess. One of the vent pipes seems to have a leak and there is a bit of mold on the floor underneath the tank. The previous tanks in that spot had been there for almost 20 years with no such issues. Also, since it was urgent, no hot water, I didn't get prices which was also a mistake. My neighbor (condo complex) needed a new tank about a month later but got prices before having the work done and paid about 850.00 for the exact same setup that cost me 1150.00.
