"Repair went well. Requested a quote online for a dryer repair through Angies List with House Appliance Repairs late Friday night. Our dryer was running however it was not heating up and actually drying the clothes. On Saturday morning by 830AM, Frank called me to discuss the issue and provided a description of what could be wrong with the dryer. He also provided estimates for the different possible issues and provided a window he would be out at the house that day. Frank texted me that he was on his way, arrived promptly, examined the dryer, let me know what the issue was, and let me know what the cost would be. He fixed the dryer quickly and even cleaned out the dryer vent while he was here. Fast response, great work, would recommend and use House Appliance Repairs again. "Doc was very helpful on the phone, and came by to give an estimate promptly. He was also much more immediately responsive than others I contacted, some of whom never called back or called back 1-2 weeks later.
He described what needed to happen to replace the shower pan, and provided price options for either installing a new fiberglass pan or doing the whole pan area in custom tile. He was also clear up front that he had to cut through the bottom part of the wall tile to do this work, and that there was a chance it could not be salvaged.
When he found that there was just sheetrock under the wall tile, he told us it had to go regardless?and I am thankful we discovered that when we did, before it caused tons of water damage. Doc then re-quoted the job to include the full tile work.  
Doc was friendly, communicated well about the project, and did great work. He does take a bit of time to complete a project (he doesn't rush, which is probably better for quality!), but you're never left hanging about when he's coming back. I would definitely hire him again.
