"There were some complications involved in completing this job: I was out of the country for two months; crops in the surrounding fields were being combined, and the land subsequently plowed, with accompanying flying chaff and dust. We had rain right through July, followed by intense heat in August. Unger Construction persevered through all this. JC Unger communicated with the local farmer to get tasks done between farm operations. The work was done meticulously. The surfaces were well prepared, and high quality paint was used. I have confidence that this paint job will last a long time. The house looks wonderful. At my request, JC added on numerous small repair jobs, which I have not listed here. All done competently. The house is now ship shape. JC took pains in finding matching siding for repairs on the pumphouse, which is in fact an old windmill. It needed a lot of TLC, and it got it. It was a sad old relic; now it is beautiful, and it will stand many more years as a centerpiece for our farm. JC also left water out for my roaming cat, which was very kind of him. I had a bid for half the price from another company. They never showed up. Unger Construction is not cheap, but for the price I received very good quality work. I will hire Unger Construction again for future projects."

"Overall, everything went very well.  John addressed everything in our contract and there were relatively few change orders.  The change orders that happened were needed and were discussed prior to the work being done.  John had good, quality people working for him.  All work was done with quality in mind.  Nothing was just slapped together to meet the bare minimum of the contract.  John was always easy to get hold of and would offer advice at all times.  We are very pleased with the end product.  We would hire John again for any home projects that we have.  The only negative was that John has a small crew and the work took a little longer than expected.  However, the quality of the work and the ease with working with John made it all worthwhile.  I would strongly recommend Quality Residential Construction to anyone in the area.  Honesty and integrity mean a lot to me and John lived up to my standards.  <br />"
