He then went right to work explaining the main drain cleaning process and the steps he would take in using his cleaning auger machine to accomplish unclogging the line. We could see the positive results and unobstructed water flow in the line as he finished using his machine. "Hired them to figure out why my toilets were not flushing. I thought we may have had a clogged sewer drain from what was happening. When the service guy arrived he went into the basement saw that my downstairs pipe had pulled down from the underfloor. He proceeded to pull up my toilet to send the auger down through the drain. No clog was apparent. Had a new flange and wax ring to put the toilet back on but did not because of a pipe issue. Did not have the equipment in his van to fix this issue. Told him my husband and I can put toilet back in place but he did not say until he was all packed up that it could not be done until the pipe below was fixed. Went 2 days with toilet sitting in middle of my downstairs bathroom. Good thing we have one upstairs as well."

"After discovering on a recent Sunday morning that we had a clogged toilet, and after trying everything we knew how to do ourselves, we searched for plumbers on Home Advisor. Mr. Rooter responded immediately to our inquiry and sent a young man out right away. He snaked the pipes all the way to the street and solved our problem for now. I can't remember the young man's name, but he was very professional, respectful of our home and explained everything to us along the way. He pulled the toilet and sent a camera down to check if the pipes had shifted and found a lot of buildup on the sides of the pipes and thought that the pipes had shifted a little. We opted to do nothing more at this time until (if and when) we have a problem in the future. I thought the charges were reasonable for the time spent and the work done, and would recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone looking for a plumber."
