"I found out my water heater was leaking the night before. I noticed water coming from my laundry room had made a puddle of water into the adjacent office space. I decided to wait till next morning because I knew emergency calls can be very expensive. Next morning I started calling around for someone to come out and look at it but was finding it very difficult to find someone to come out same day. I called 3 or 4 different places and they were all not available or Did not call me back. The only company that responded to me within the hour was JM Plumbing. They were also the only company that were willing to come out same day and gave me an awesome price that beat all competitors by far. The owner agreed to come out to do the work at end of day after his last job, he arrived on time with an assistant. Was very professional, friendly, fast and did an excellent job. Total time installing was about about an hour to hour and a half. He went to buy a new water heater and new hose to replace my old one, gave me all receipts and warranty paperwork . I am very satisfied with the work he did, the heater is working beautifully and I am very pleased with the job done by JM Plumbing. I highly recommend them over anyone in olympia, they do an awesome job for an awesome price!"

"Unfortunately, our roommate had lost part of the toilet paper holder roll down the toilet, we didn't want to damage the toilet, or pipes by trying to remove it on our own. We contacted Vortex on Christmas Day and they were responsive and said they could would contact us the next morning to schedule. After having to contact them on our own at 10am, we were told they would show up 2-3pm, that came and went and then we were told 4, then 4:30 and they showed up around 5. Sadly, this was an entire day of work missed because of a lack of communication. While I am very grateful they fit us in last minute, there were no updates on ETA. Upon arrival, they were very concerned with the 'age' of the toilet, probably being the original from the 60's. They had removed the toilet and attempted to look into the toilet with their scope, but found no item. We just wanted piece of mind that the metal piece lost was not lodged down the line under the house. When trying to use the scope on the outgoing pipe, their scope was too large and they could see nothing. The entire reason we had called someone out was to inspect the pipes, which they could not do at all. I understand all houses are different, but there should be additional plans to be made for such circumstances. There are a lot of older houses in the PNW, with most of the original structures still in place. Whenever we asked any questions, the answers were met with a shrug or a non-answer. We figured since we had a plumber coming out we would just have them install a new toilet, and they did that rather quickly, and with no issues. Unfortunately, with the lack of communication before and during the visit, we will not be using Vortex again."
