"Very, very well! Billy had another job earlier in the day, but kept me aware of the situation and came by to take a look at around 4:30pm. While I was convinced the lack of water pressure was caused by the main water line from the street, Billy checked everything out and, in less than 30 minutes, figured out where the problem was located and what to do. And, of course, it was not the main water line (as I suspected). In fact, Billy figured out the problem and got the water pressure back on without putting a shovel in the ground!! "A broken sewage pipe in the back yard was the reason for the service call. While that was an issue, it was not the root cause of the problem. Armor Plumbing arrived on time, assessed problem areas and repaired them efficiently. Initial assessment performed by Tim, with a camera scan confirmed his thought that the likeliest cause of the problem was the primary sewage line from the house was not draining properly. There was a waviness in the pipe allowing it to clog easily and this in turn caused the backup into the secondary sewage line in the backyard. Tim, Roger and Ben returned the next day with a tracked backhoe to dig up the main sewage line from the house. As that line was being uncovered, the waviness that Tim had indicated the day before was very evident and from peak to trough was equal to or exceeded the drain pipe diameter. That line was replaced from the cleanout at the house to the junction point with the county sewer system, then it was on the back yard. Repairs were made to the secondary sewage line when Ben noted an issue with the sump pump electrical connection for the secondary sewage line. He corrected the electrical connection issue and the system was tested before covering the repairs. I had expected this to be a multi-day repair once the full extent of the issues were realized but Armor Plumbing stayed on the job until it was completed, making it a long day for them. The equipment used was well selected, the backhoe was large enough to dig the several feet deep for the primary sewage line but not so large that it damaged the lawn, the camera system had enough length and resolution that it could note all the problem areas in the sewage lines and they had a wide selection of hand tools and specialty shovels that aided their ability to work efficiently. This was a major repair job and considering the time spent on the job, the cost of materials and equipment used along with other business overhead expenses, I thought the price charged was very reasonable. Based on this repair, I would not hesitate to recommend Armor Plumbing to others."

"It is my Mr. Nice Guy husband who is responsible for not requesting an estimate prior to contracting with the plumber. The washer connection had a bent pipe. I had no idea it would take a couple of hours and cost nearly $400 or I would have insisted that he secure more estimates and ask this contractor.

We are pleased with the work but I would have appreciated the plumber keeping us apprised of any complications that would have explained the final cost.

I had a pleasant experience even with this being an unexpected event and expense.  I was a little concerned that being a single female it would be easy for a company to take advantage of my lack of knowledge.  But from the very beginning the owner of the company took the time to explain the steps and the possible prices so I would know what to expect.

The company?s representatives were Amos and Dustin.  They not only were on time but early.  At all times I found them to be dependable, hard-working, conscientious, honest and courteous.  These men went above and beyond every quality listed above.

Dustin took the time to take me out to the tank and lines and explained each step to me.  He explained everything he did and why.  He explained how the system worked in detail to me until I didn?t have any questions left.  He was very mannerly and professional.  Dustin was a very hardworking young man.

Amos kept the project on the timeline and was in control of the project at all times.  He was very friendly and professional, and like Dustin, he explained every step to me.  Even though you could tell that Amos was over the project, he worked right alongside Dustin (digging, shoveling, working under the house, etc.) every step of the way.  He walked the area with me after everything was finished.  Amos was a very hardworking, thorough and honest man who represented the company well.
