"I highly recommend this company for granite repair. They promptly responded to my request and scheduled an appointment for the very next day. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and repaired my granite countertop so flawlessly that you can’t even tell where the crack had been. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of the workmanship was pristine. Reliable, skilled, and highly professional from start to finish."

"Working with Jessus Delgato was a pleasure. He came out to give an estimate and the next day he met us at 3 different stone distributors. He gave great recommendations on how to pick out quality stone and we agreed on the stone we wanted. Two days later his crew was at our home installing our 2 new beautiful countertops. It took them 4 hours to remove, prep and install the new countertops. They were professional installers. We are extremely pleased with the total project and would recommend them for any type of countertop work."

"Friendly company owner, the workers who installed everything were also friendly and professional. After we chose our material it was a little over a week until they installed everything. Same day completion as well, so they came and left a finished job. However, I'm glad I checked to make sure it was level before they left! It also feels a little too quickly done because I will definitely have to fill in the gap between the countertop and the cabinets. Overall smooth experience but installation was slightly below par. Great for the price though and at least our kitchen is done!"

"Very well overall. Some things excellent. Ex - granite fabrication & install. Walls & ceiling amazing. Cabinets - good not exceptional. Responsiveness is an area of need to improve. Although they have addressed every concern professionally & the 3 gentlemen are very wonderful individuals. They need to work on prompt communication."

FAQs for stone slab countertops installation (granite, marble, quartz, etc) projects in Taylor, TX

Soapstone countertops are durable, environmentally friendly, easy to maintain, non-porous, heat-resistant, and naturally antibacterial. They resist stains and cracks, making them a practical and long-lasting choice. However, soapstone has limited color options and can have visible seams in larger installations. It may also scratch or chip if not handled carefully and tends to have a higher initial cost than other materials. Overall, if you're looking for a functional and aesthetically pleasing countertop, soapstone is a solid choice despite these minor drawbacks.

Soapstone countertops typically come in light to dark gray, often with blue or green undertones. One of the unique features of soapstone is that it deepens in color over time, developing a rich patina that adds to its charm. Each slab is unique, with natural streaks and veining that become more pronounced as the countertop ages, giving your kitchen or bathroom a dynamic and evolving look.

With proper care, soapstone countertops can last 50 years or more. Regular cleaning with mild detergents and occasional applications of mineral oil to enhance the natural patina will keep your countertops looking beautiful. Thanks to its durable nature, soapstone stands up well for daily use, making it a wise long-term investment for your home.

Sealing isn't necessary for soapstone countertops. Soapstone is naturally non-porous and antibacterial, resists stains, and doesn't harbor bacteria. While you don't need to seal it, applying mineral oil occasionally can enhance its natural beauty and help develop a rich patina over time. This simple maintenance keeps your countertop looking its best for years to come.
