"Everything went great! Needed to find a local plumber in an emergency on a Saturday and Chris was able to be there within 30 minutes of talking to him. He observed the job and communicated what would need to be done and fixed/replaced everything that needed to be. "We chose Superior Kitchens to completely remodel our kitchen (finished in 2015) because of their high rating, professionalism in providing a complete quote, and examples of their beautiful floor design work. They were not the cheapest vendor we considered, but remember that old saying: you get what you pay for. Superior provided excellent project management: costs controlled carefully, schedule maintained despite inevitable delays by unforeseen hiccups (supplier delays, sub-flooring needed replacement, etc.), and addressed any questions/quality issues/changes requested by the fussy home owner (me) after the project began. All the members of their team, and the subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, painters) involved in the project were responsible and pleasant. Our friends love our new kitchen, and our most comment compliments concern the fantastic flooring design. After the job ended, we asked them to quote and replace all the vinyl flooring in the kids’ bathrooms, our mudroom hallway, and laundry room, as well as update a small bathroom. Their prices for these jobs were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend them to any homeowner who wants to remodel, and would hire these wonderful people again. And again."

"I purchased a special offer through angie's list for faucet installation. Chris was quick to respond via email and we set up at time over the phone for the following week. Mike arrived on time and did a great job (finally my sink faucet doesnt leak out the base!!!!). A piece of piping was necessary to install the new faucet and mike was able to have it readily available to complete the job without having to come back. I'll definitely use them again in the future (now i have to get the matching bathtub fixtures!!)

"Joe came right over and found that the 3rd floor tenant had disconnected the faucet goose neck and it was leaking behind the sink . He repaired it and did another water test and had solved the problem."

"Joe is very punctual, polite, professional, and down to earth. He told me that the custom-ordered window would take 4-6 weeks to make and the installation would take one day and he is true to his words. His crew is also very friendly. Joe and his crew arrive by 7AM on the day of installation and completed the install along with the rot repair by 4PM. Would highly recommend Joe (The Siding Guy) and his team."

"After the tech finished with the boiler I called his attention to a suspicious accumulation of blue copper deposit on one of our heating zone pipes above the boiler. Because the boiler had been installed only two years earlier it didn't seem right.  The problem was traced to the hot water pipe coming from the water heater:  a pinhole leak in that pipe traveled back down the inside of the foam insulating jacket to drip onto the heating zone pipe below and leave the deposit.
The tech cut the pipe at the site of the leak and "sweated" a short patch in place to stop the leak and fix the problem in a short time.
This unscheduled repair was timely and effective.  That's where the extra $280 above the Angie's price came from.
I am clearly too old.  I have lost track of what plumbing work costs in 2013-14 (and unfortunately needs to cost to run an effective plumbing company).  Note: My N/A on price, above, refers to the boiler cleaning charge only.  The actual total was the $350 shown.

"We were offered a few options, from bare bones, to top of the line. We went with middle of the road, and looks great. Used the paint we had and cleaned up the old plaster walls nicely."

"After having several plumbing issues and having my sewer line snaked into, I was told by my plumber that I had a damaged line and needed excavation services. I called a few numbers that I found on Angie's List and Bill was the first that I could get scheduled to come out and take a look. Bill came out early on a Saturday morning to take a look at the problem and told me that he could have his guys at my place as early as Monday morning. He gave me a quote for $1500 which would be to cover up the hole in the pipe with a spot repair. Bill and three of his guys arrived on Monday morning earlier than expected and immediately started digging. After digging about 6 ft deep, they were able to determine that the pipe was completely damaged and had to be replaced. They were able to solve the problem and get the new pipe in place after about 3-4 hrs. Though they had to replace the pipe which required extra digging, Bill stuck with the price he had given me on Saturday. In addition, to having them replace this pipe, I also had a couple of old stubborn tree roots that I wanted to have removed so I could patch over the area with grass seed. One of the guys was able to get these removed for me while the others were working on the sewer line. I am very pleased with the service provided by W Callahan. Though having to replace a sewer pipe is not an experience that I wanted to deal with, I was happy to find a service like W Callahan for the job. I strongly recommend them for any excavation projects.
