"When our dog was a puppy, he had checked up the carpet in the entry way to the house. We also had fraying near the seem of the carpet after we had our carpets cleaned years back. This area got progressively worse as time went on. My wife and I feared we may have to replace the whole carpet. We are planning on moving and selling our house. With the expenses of moving out of state, we were weary of paying for new carpets. After research online and reading good reviews, we decided to give Las Vegas Carpet Repair a try."

"The Installation of my vinyl planking flooring by Fantastic Flooring went great. I love the look of my new flooring. John was great as well. He stayed in touch with me through the whole installation to make sure there were no problems. I would receive Fantastic Flooring for all your flooring needs, and I would use them again!"

"Matt was on time and provided an accurate estimate.  He was honest with work required, and even advised that there were some areas he thought did not need the cleaning.  He was efficient with his work and got the job done quickly while doing a fantastic job.  He also provided free advice on the type of grout cleaner to use if we wanted to do it ourselves for future care (his job should last at least 5 years), as well as his choice of product to clean our granite counters and seal those as well.    <br /> <br /> The only negative was that he unexpectedly showed up with his son on the first day.  We would definitely use his cleaning service again."

"I was quoted $75 on the phone. <br /> I was told they'd arrive between 2 and 4:00 PM.  They showed up around 2:30 PM.   <br /> They introduced themselves, were clean and polite.  (Eddie and Eduardo, which made it easy to remember their names.) <br /> I showed them the job; they asked if I'd been given a telephonic quote.  I said "Yes.  $75.  Does that work for you now that you've seen the job?"  Eddie said "Yes." <br /> They decided to come and go through the front door rather than through the garage. <br /> They were recommended to me by my real estate agent.  My carpet is nine years old and I've only had it cleaned one other time.  I thought we would have to replace it before putting the house on the market, but my RE Agent told me to give Keystone Carpet Care a try first; that they are great at getting just about everything out of carpet; he has seen them get carpets cleaned that are far worse than mine.  He was right.  The carpets haven't looked this good in many years. <br /> I paid them $75 cash, as well as a $10 tip each. <br /> They started by protecting the corners of all of my walls, which I appreciated having just had the interior of my house painted two weeks ago. <br />"

"I am simply AMAZED that I actually did this remodel project!!!  I keep looking at the finished project and saying "Wow... Did I do that"?  Since I have never cut tile, installed a bathtub surround or even seen those projects done, I know that I could not have done this bathroom remodel without the amazing help of Home Depo staff!!!   I could not afford to pay someone to do this work for me so I went to Home Depo and  asked for advice.  Everyone was VERY helpful and encouraging. My questions were many but the guys were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  <br />  I was able to install a bathtub surround, and tile around the surround with no experience. I look at my new bathroom and am impressed at how awesome it turned out!!!   Just look for yourself at the photo.. <br /> A BIG thank you to the Home Depo staff on Pecos !!!!!    I could NOT have done this without you!! <br />"

"They assisted me with the selection of the new flooring and obtaining all the necessary accessories required to give my home a new floor (hallway, living room, and dining room).  The work was performed to my utmost satisfaction because the crew took great pride in their work, were consistently professional, extremely skilled, and accommodated my suggestions/requirements.  They punctually arrived every day and worked nonstop during the workday in order to finish by the promised completion time and date.  Everyone from the decorator, floor supervisors, workers, etc. were extremely helpful and prompt to assist me in restoring my home back to normal.  I have other work to perform and I will definitely use this provider for the new work. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Las Vegas, NV

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
