He shopped at hardware stores for parts that I requested. He went far beyond just fixing things in my 1949 home. He was creative and eager to resolve problems. He is very pleasant to work with and seems to enjoy the challenge of surprises that Handyman work offers. He doesn't give estimates and I can see why. I was constantly finding new things that needed addressing that he was willing to look into. Home repair jobs are often more complicated than expected. At $40 and hour he certainly earned his fee at my house. His first house call was an emergency as my daughter was being married, and 3 days before a lot of company was coming to my house I discovered that the powder room door would not close after new carpet laying. He came on short notice and had it working quickly. My gratitude is beyond words."
