Steve is so people friendly but also professional. He kept us apprised of necessary schedule changes. He did a great job keeping the area neat and clean up was done daily during the job. We could not be happier. Steve is also building a small deck and stairs behind a bungalow on the property. We are so happy to have him doing this also."

"We used Tallents to build a porch on our home cost of addition over 22000.00 we have several problems to address problem   1 professionalism and time to complete work: We ask for time to complete Neil told us a couple of weeks at the end it took 4 to 5 months his people would show up and not work go home not come in when we were told they would. We started to paint the porch around them because of the time taken.    <br /> Problem 2 Quality of work. We after painting found sloppy work in hard to see spots on the roof area gaps in joints more than 2 inches in some spots some screws missing nails also. <br /> Problem 3 quote of Job we had a written quote for the scope of the work up front told them about the large hand rails heavy wood that we wanted the spot over the porch at the back door we were told that it would look just like the before addition ect.During the repair we ask would it cost to do add plywood to the chimney are at this time we were told no charge because it was costing less to do the porch. At the final bill it was 1500.00 more ask why Neil told the chimney was extra the porch are over the back door extra large   hand rails extra.... I as why told him about quote and chimney talk and he told me we would have to pay.. <br /> On a side note we used trex wood on some of the outside steps we had some let over on the last day they were here 3 carpenters made a saw horse out of my left over wood and loaded it up in there truck with a couple of large sticks of treated wood. I paid for all the supplies by c/c total 12800.00 to Manier Building supply. <br /> In business you live by your word I know I have one and have run it 20 years.. If they are the best would hate to see the worst. <br />"

"Brand new home (1yr old) received damage on the inside walls in the family room and exterior back side frames and hardie board siding from a botched cable installation job. Previously received estimates totaling $1700; frustrated from the attitudes of other contractors, contacted Angie list and One Call Handyman was recommended. Thank you God they were outstanding, very professional, and the quality of service was remarkable considering they beat the competitors pricing by $800 and time frame for the repair by 5 days. Once the estimate was given we contacted them two days later set up the date and time for the repair and the work was completed as scheduled. Given the new home I was upset from the damage but they were very patient and understanding. Each time I called the office they were customer friendly and more than happy to assist, to include returning all calls within a timely manner. My home was restored to its original state and you can't tell the damage was ever there. I love you guys and highly recommend their services to others,the work completed was amazing, reasonable, and the degree of quality & care given was truly heavenly!! <br />"

"Mr Corbett discusses what needs to be done and finishes in one day with no break.  In the summer thats a tough job! The siding and eaves are pure white again and the brick is free of dirt, moss or mold. It makes a wonderful difference in the appearance of the house. He also sprays any stray weeds that may be trying to get a foothold on the brick or chimney eliminating my having to do it.  A very personable man whose prices have hardly changed in all these years.  A tremendous value for the money! <br />"
