"I live on the Oregon coast and had a new roof installed in 2015. It had persistent leak issues that the contractor could not/did not fix. Romvil repaired the leaks, re-built rotted out interior and exterior walls, and replaced our interior sheetrock. They were very clear about letting us know exactly what they knew we needed to have done, before they did it. They showed us computer generated plans that explained why we had problems and what they were going to do. They were totally honest about cost and made sure we had agreed to what it would cost before they did the work. I will gladly. hire them again!!!"

"We hired A&E construction and painting to put on a new roof, paint our entire home exterior, and install new gutters. Their bids were significantly lower than all others and they worked with us on our timeline. They were respectful of our budget and didn’t push us to do more than was necessary. We upgraded the vents in our roof for a very reasonable price. The neighbors stopped by frequently to comment on how wonderful it looks! I’m now hiring them for some inside work. I trust them to do quality work at reasonable prices. I highly recommend A&E !!!"

"Errors in the original estimate and following procedures kept raising the cost even when we got bigger and bigger discounts. Rafter work needed to be done and we knew we upfront we may incur extra costs so we gave the go-ahead to fix that--what else were we going to do at that point. The additional work seemed incredibly excessive. When questioned, the salesperson explains there was a set fee per square which included removal of two layers of old shingles, removal, and replacement of sheathing for the entire roof. For the additional rafter work, they were charging the per square rate which we had already paid for...they were charging us for removing and replacing twice. The rafters were exposed and required only the additional rafter work. We were livid. They sent out someone else to negotiate and we still paid more for the extra work than we wanted. I believe the actual work performed was good."

"Steve Wade, the owner, immediately responded to my call for the roof to be replaced on my home. He reviewed the process with me in detail and drew up a concise and fair contract for the extensive area involved in my two-level home.  He had the dumpster delivered and the very next day the crew was on the job.  They were very careful to use all safety equipment and worked quickly to remove the old two layers of shingles.  They placed a liner over the bare roof to protect it from and moisture until the new shingles could be applied. The crew also covered shrubs to ensure that they would not be damaged by falling shingles.  One section of a back addition had lost some shingles two years ago and the wood was starting to rot underneath.  The crew replaced the entire section while making sure that I was aware of this addition to the project.  The shingles that I chose were then very quickly placed on the roof while the crew members were tied off to safety hooks since the roof has an extreme slant.  The project was completed in seven days which was wonderful considering how noisy it was (understandable for this type of project though).  Steve Wade came out the next day to review the work and note any punch list items that needed to be completed before final payment was made.  He was very responsive to get crew members out as soon as possible to complete these items.  This company is very professional, the workers are careful and listen to any concerns from the owner or guidance as to where to store tools during the project.  I have used this company in the past to paint my home and I was very pleased that I chose them for this major roofing project.  My home looks amazing now and Steve made sure it was done correctly and that I was satisfied with the results.  I will definitely continue to use this company for any future home projects that require remodeling, etc.  They are a fast working crew and everyone is professional and leaves a clean area at the end of each day.

"Provider was on time and explained what he was doing. He found other issues on the roof while up there, informed me about a response, and helped me take care of a couple of issues."

"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

1) bent existing backdoor awning.  Had to be replaced.

2) layed tarps/plywood on top of flower beds killing flowers underneath.

3) knocked over water bottle in attic making a water stain on bedroom ceiling.

4) left scraps on attic floor.

5)installed roof vents over area that didn't have a hole for the vent.

Note: they did resolve most problems and adjusted price for damages, but the management should have better control over the work performed.  They constantly complained on how much Angie's List was getting from the job!
