"Everything was completed to my satisfaction. They did a very good job in some of the difficult areas. For example, painting around thick vines growing on porch columns and beam. Everything I pointed out in the inspection was taken care of promptly with no excuses. Communication was good with everyone involved. I would have no qualms about using company again or recommending to others. Following are a couple of minor issues we had. A few minor issues: We had 3 gallons of left over trim paint. That seemed like an error in estimating amount needed. On the other hand, there was only 1/2 gal. of main color left which is what I would expect for trim also. My hot tub was unplugged before they started because it was empty. The crew plugged it in when they finished without checking with me. It was several hours before I noticed it. I had to reset the heater unit but no damage was done."

"Eric R and Brandon F did a fantastic job. They took the time to show me what I needed. Thier attention to detail and explaining everything to me with pictures as proof was very nice. They had good suggestions on working on the roof instead of the siding as the roof was much worse."

"Martin and his crew tore up a paver patio and partial lawn and installed a beautiful patio with pavers and river rock. On time and worked quickly! I was really happy with how I was treated and the quality of work they did. It was a small project which I sometimes have a hard time finding people for and Martin was eager and made me feel like it was worth his time."

"We had 5 or 6 painters give us estimates and their estimates were wide ranging from $1,700 to more than $4,000. Dave gave the best presentation, patiently answering all of our questions and leaving us with Sherman Williams sample kit with hundreds of paint colors which was extremely helpful. His written estimate was written in great detail, which we liked and I think we only made one small change before signing it. He arrived on time, delivered every thing he promised, cleaned up after the job and left us with plenty of paint to touch up our paint if ever our siding or trim should be damaged in any way. We are pleased and completely satisfied with the job he did and will probably be calling on him for some interior painting later in the year."

"Suburbia painted our 1930s English Tudor house in Portland after a major re-siding project. They also prepped and painted a 1960s duplex for us. In both cases, we were very happy with the work. One project was this year; the other was two years ago. The owner, Carlos Santos, is professional, friendly, conscientious and very hard-working. He did our estimates and personally oversaw both projects. His prices are fair, considering the quality of his work and his attention to detail. Our house looks gorgeous now, and the duplex looks much better. He goes the extra mile, both on prep work and finish work. His painting crews were friendly and hard-working, and they took good care with our property. In both cases, the work got done on schedule. He discovered some dry rot on the rental property mid-way and took care of it quickly and very fairly. Also, he doesn't disappear after the job is done: When we called him about a minor follow-up thing with our house, he came back right away and took care of it, despite being very busy. We would certainly recommend him to anyone, both for interior and exterior work."

"I don't usually write reviews online, but in this situation I cannot help myself. I was blown away by Mark's responsiveness and work ethic. I venture to say that Mark is faster, smarter, more efficient, and more detail-oriented than most any contractor. I was in a desperate situation (had to fire another contractor for unfortunate reasons and NEEDED our only tub replaced and bathroom tiled so my fiancé could use it to recover from surgery in a few days). Mark problem-solved quickly, told me to buy a new tub, and came over Friday at 5 after his regular work day to help me get the tub replaced in under 2 hours. After asking his wife first (classy), he offered to work over the weekend to get the job done. We worked side by side to knock out the bathroom in 2 very long days. Being a new home owner, I was jazzed to learn how to tile and Mark was an excellent leader and teacher. Honestly, I could go on and on. This guy is for real. He's professional, skilled, and efficient as all get out. I'm sure he isn't perfect, but I think you'd be very hard pressed to find a better skilled or more enjoyable contractor in the area. "

"I had a 2 foot square hole in my ceiling caused by a plumbing repair job.  I called Walt's Handyman and Walt gave me a ball-park estimate from a verbal description.    He and his wife (his assistant) came  to the house on time and began work.  They were very friendly and professional and worked very efficiently to complete the ceiling repair.  The repair work needed to dry before repainting so we made another appointment for them to return and paint.  They took paint samples with them to match the paint on the ceiling/walls

Again they showed up on time and were very careful of the carpets, etc.  They did a great job on the ceiling.  It looks perfect!
While they were painting the ceiling they made some "touch-ups" on the paint on the walls without being asked.  It was a nice touch.

 I liked what they did so I asked them back to mount some small speakers near the ceiling in the family room and route the cables behind the walls.  Walt looked at the project and figured out how to do it.    To save time and money I bought parts for the job myself at the hardware store.    Walt did a great job with speakers;  the end result looks great and I couldn't be happier.

"The sales person did a good job explaining the work needed, what they would do, and provided a clear estimate. I purchased the plus package with ridge vents. The crew did a good job removing and installing the new roof, boards, and skylight. We had an issue with too much oil on a packag or two of the shingles which created an interesting look on my roof. We worked through the issue by holding payment for that part of the work until the oil faded (a few months). It has been about a year and the roof is doing well."

"We were impressed with the professionalism and the look of the house when they were done. They provided any paint product you preferred. We decided on Benjamin Moore cuz we liked the specific gray color they offered. The crew showed up on time and we're done in a day and a half. The quote included some trim on the outside around the garage end roof Peaks that we had repainted green because the old beige color was fading. They also touched up corner of the living room ceiling strip where I had splashed gold it's when we last painted saving us from having to repaint the whole ceiling and the match was perfect. Also repainted the back of the metal front door which was old and dirty looking and the bottom of the fireplace which also needed freshening up from its dirty white color. I asked them to cleanup or touch up some previous paint left or from an old paint job and they did so so on that but I'm not complaining. For the price, lack of family inconvenience, and overall finished product we could not have done better. They were considerably cheaper than two of our beds which made my wife nervous but she needn't have been, they did a great job."
