"Unprofessional, untimely, poor workmanship, stressful experience. Shawn did a LVP flooring install on two levels of my house, including the kitchen. Almost $8K for 1K SF. Flooring failed 1st time due to no subfloor leveling despite me asking twice if it was needed. 24 planks in 600 SF were separating in 2 weeks. Once I informed Shawn the floor was failing, his workers tried accessing my garage without permission to get tools. Seemed like they were trying to split on a bad job. Despite the bad job done, I worked with him on cost-effective products to try and save as much money as possible on the rework. Both levels of flooring had issues, but I only asked for main level to be redone. Ultimately, it took 4 months of poor communication and terrible customer service to finally get new flooring installed, still not level but holding????! Ultimately, the new flooring installed was left unfinished, leaving me to install trim, transitions, end caps, stair nosing and caulk on my own."

"We recently hired Dino and his crew to replace two decks and handrails in the front with TimberTech composite. Dino and his crew are like a family. They all worked together well and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Long days for them and several times I was telling them to â go homeâ , lol. They were great to work with and were always professional and listened to any concerns we had. If something wasnâ t quite right they would fix it. Weâ ve had workers here many times, but these guys were the neatest in regards to cleaning up debris and garbage. The finished product is beautiful and we are very happy with the project. "So fast and professional! Two gentlemen; Peter S And Tyler C, came to my home for a consultation for few projects. Both arrived on time, listened to what I was considering and thoughtfully looked at the various areas needing work. They presented me with my options and helped talk through the decision making process. Once we landed on 'let do the gutters first', they broke down the details, materials, steps and costs to insure I understood and was comfortable moving forward. Then, Midwest Home Improvements team came and measured, obtained whatever permits were needed, and had new gutters fabricated and on my house within two weeks without any additional effort or inconvenience on my part. Communication was clear and frequent and there was no mess! If I didn't already know and they weren't a completely different color, I probably wouldn't have even noticed a whole crew of people had been there working. It was like gutter fairies came and went while I was at work."

"I am not impressed with John's work. He talks a good game but his delivery is not quite there. John did my back porch with composite wood and steel. He guaranteed his work but I have had issues with the boards and he refuses to come back to fix. I have to say I researched his reviews and they all had a common theme and it's that he talks a good game but doesn't stand by his warranty. I spoke to him about the reviews but he informed me that his business is under management and that all the problems happened under his son, but it's not his son it's John the owner who doesn't stand behind his warranty. Several of the composite boards he put down on my porch are already coming up and the work isn't even a month old. I have called him several types he responded when he wants to and say he is coming and never shows up. So I can say John repaired my deck and finished the work. He made some mistakes on deck but for the most part the deck looks good but he doesn't stand by his warranty"
