"After researching several different companies, and comparing services and quotes, we settled on Dog Guard. The business owner, Heather, was very accommodating and spent valuable time explaining everything to us. From the time we made our initial inquiry, she had us scheduled for an at home consultation, and installation within 4 days. I felt she simplified what to expect from the installation and dog training, and didn't upsale anything not needed. Since installation, she continues to stay in touch and is always responsive when we reach out to her. Very happy with our choice."

"Overall, 4.5 stars. There was a great deal of time between the contract signing (early May) and the actual installation (early August) which was likely due to external uncontrollable conditions. The communication with the office was fine, but I had to be proactive and call. Promised calls back didn't really happen, but the staff was friendly and able to answer almost all questions immediately. The install crew was two guys who were respectful and responsive when I had a question/concern. There is apparently some disconnect between the sales team and the install team as what was described to me during the sales pitch was not what actually occurred (mostly, the sales guy told me that they would use the same post holes as the old rotting fence. The install team explained why that was not a good idea.) The job took 1.5 days which was about what I expected. The leftover dirt from the new holes was spread out around the posts, which made some cleanup for us as the clay soil here will not just subside/fade easily and will kill grass if left on top, but the install crew were upfront about that, though the sales guy obviously didn't discuss that with me. I would hire this company again. They were not the most expensive estimate, but they were not the cheapest either. I'm pleased with the end product, the install crew clearly takes pride in their work."

"I contacted Deck Rescue amongst a few others after reviewing companies online and on Angie's List for quotes on our two (2) homes in the area.  Deck Rescue was prompt, professional and punctual in their response to me.  I got a call from the office scheduling an appointment for an estimate, and Dave kept his appointment as promised to provide us an estimate for both of our homes. <br /> <br /> He recommended staining for one home but not the other as it was not yet needed this year.  He was honest and thorough in his recommendations and estimate.  He was available to answer questions and discuss the details once we decided to use Deck Rescue for the work. <br /> <br />Dave was on schedule as promised for the power washing and the deck staining and repairs.  He and his crew did a very good job with the staining and repairs, and Dave also took care of a few other deck repairs that were not stated in the estimate - at no extra charge.  He also came back to pound some popped nails that were overlooked the first time once we noticed it and contacted him. <br /> <br />I found Dave to be professional, reliable and courteous during this entire process.  He always returned my calls and email inquiries promptly, which is more than what I can say for a lot of contractors during busy seasons.  We are happy with the work done by Deck Rescue and I would recommend their services to anyone. <br />"

"G.A. Wilson builders did a fantastic job all around replacing my roof. I am very happy with their punctuality and professionalism. They were quick to start and did things right. I had no problems. They even have a cool dumpster lift that they hoisted right up by the roof. The result was not one nail or scrap in my mulch beds. This company is strongly recommended."

"The scheduling was easy. They did an estimate over the phone for some of the work. Everything was eventually completed to our satisfaction. There were follow up phone calls to make sure we were satisfied. We had three different handymen who were all punctual and pleasant. Rob especially seemed knowledgeable. The first person was less experienced and didn't totally prepare the surfaces before installing new caulk, and I was unhappy with the results. He also didn't have the right nail gun to reattach the kitchen molding and banged it up while trying to do it manually. But he was a time efficient worker, and the rest of his work was fine. The company sent someone else to fix the issues as soon as they could, and everything was made right. The gate project went smoothly, and they fixed it without excessive intervention and cost."

"They fixed the heater, and it broke again a couple of months later. The price was $600 the first time.  This time, I got a home warranty. They were prompt. They came quickly to fix it the same day, which was good. I don’t know if it was their fault, but the heater broke."
