"The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! "BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS Express Fencing was exemplary , from the owner, Jenk to the four installers , They went above and beyond in every capacity. I did my homework and got four estimates. Express fencing was competitive with other quotes but offered to do extras , like adapt the fence around my pool heater gas line, straighten out existing fence on one side of yard which was not being replaced , and also fix a gate. I felt that Jenk was honest with his quote right from the start which was not the case with others. The fence looks amazing, perfectly straight and level, which was not easy in my yard around the pool. The actual material of vinyl fencing looks to be of high quality and their workmanship was perfect. The installers, who were polite, prompt and professional worked from daylight to dark (had to put my outside lights on) to get the job done in one day so I would not be inconvenienced a second day. "They had to dig out some of the bricks that were partially buried in compost. They did a good job, and I was very pleased. They came a little bit early because of a previous job being canceled. They were very motivated and courteous. They worked very hard. What happened is they could only fill the truck so full, so I basically purchased a truck load from them. They were able to get as many bricks as they could into one truck load, since one load costs $600. Everything I asked them to do they did without hesitation."
