"<p>We recently purchased flooring from Carpets of Dalton.  Our experience was great.  We encountered a very kind salesperson who listened to our ideas and expectations.  We agreed on carpet for our bedrooms, tile for our baths, kitchen and laundry and beautiful hardwood for our dining and living areas.  This project was spread over several weeks and they were great in helping us coordinate the install with all the furniture we had to move.  The gentleman who came to measure was polite and professional. He got right to the task and was finished in the allotted time.  The products we ordered are beautiful and the quality was exactly what we expected.  The installers were prompt at showing up at the agreed upon time and finished in a timely manner.  They seemed to be sensitive to the ?mess? they were making during the installation and made a point of cleaning the areas they were working in.  They really were craftsmen.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Thanks for doing a nice job for our family.</p> <br />"

"Wagon Wheel Flooring was very professional in all it's dealings. The floor was installed on the date they promised and installation was excellent. The installer was very polite and almost went overboard in cleaning up after himself."

"We have a large 2-story home. The carpeting is oatmeal colored so we have it professionally cleaned every 6 months. We have a kitty litter box on each floor. The one on the tile floor is never a problem, however, the one on the carpet in the hallway upstairs apparently became damp (unknown to us) from the kitty litter on our cat's feet. As a result, the carpet in the front of the box became dark and hardened due to changing to a quick absorbing brand. Also, the carpeting in the master bath and one of the bedrooms upstairs "stretched" and had "waves" in it. I called Al. He came over with an employee, they re-stretched the carpet, cut out the soiled area in front of the litter box, replaced it with a left over piece I had kept and everything looks brand new. HE REFUSED TO LET ME PAY HIM A DIME, even though the problems were not from anything due to him installing carpeting...five YEARS ago. This company cares about customer service and they back their work 100%."

"Just finished 2 bathroom remodels (Master Bath and Guest Bath)... LOVE THEM!!! <br /> Everyone was great to work with, estimates were more cost-effective than other companies, workmanship was extraordinary. The primary installer was very courteous, conscientious, and meticulous. The quality of work was impeccable...and the care and attention second to none. Every effort possible was made to minimize impact during the remodel and to ensure minimal <br /> dust in the house and even in the garage where saws and tools operated. <br /> In this house and a previous one, we also have had Tintas Granite & Flooring install granite throughout the homes as well as tear out existing flooring and install new tile, wood, and carpet. <br /> We are going to build a new home in the next year or so and will definitely again look to have Bill Tintas and the team at Tintas <br /> Granite & Flooring help us upgrade the home. <br /> If you are looking for quality service and quality <br /> outcome at a reasonable cost...look to Tintas Granite & Flooring. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Tonto Basin, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
