"It's funny how one rarely takes care of one of the most  important items in your home.
I was one of them.  Never put too much thought into how to care for my roof.
So, here 40+ years later a hole materializes and panic sets in.
Between the phone conversations I had, and the weather delays that no one can prevent there are no problems to report.
The guys at Econo Roofing were wonderful.  They removed my old wood shake roof in less than one day. (Aprox. 3200 sq/ft)
The following day, they returned and put on my new Owens Corning roof material. 
Replaced some dry rot  found in the eves, and put primer paint on all the replaced wood.
They even painted the vents on the roof  to compliment the roof color.  Unlike my neighbors new roof, where the roofer there simply left the galvanized steel unpainted.  His vents really stick out against his dark black roof tiles.
When it was all said and done, there was even a matching trim (color coordinated of course) that went all the way around the house.  Giving it that extra polished look.
I really don't think anyone could have made me happier.
At the end of the day, they kept my place clean and were careful not to make a mess in my pool.  The also used a large magnet to pickup any dropped or misplaced nails/screws.
Edgar came out the last day and did a complete inspection of the work done, in addition to putting up a new section of rain gutter that I had included in the bid.
 For my situation, in a slight panic discovering a hole in the roof in the middle of winter ( which they covered with a piece of tin until the re-roof was scheduled) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the fine people at Econo-Roofing.
