"We just had our backyard patio done by Rolland Cement and we could not be happier with the results. The owner, Greg Rolland, was professional and responsive from the beginning when we called in January for an estimate to the end of the project.The price was very fair. It was pretty impressive to see the crew of 6ish men efficiently get the project done at each step like a well oiled machine- they really are a master of their trade. The final product was exactly what we asked for and looks amazing. We were also pleasantly surprised that the yard sustained almost no damage, considering there were massive equipment and trucks rolling through it (they put pads down on the lawn to protect it). We feel really good knowing that it was "done right" and will be contacting the company again in the future for other concrete projects. Just a helpful hint: We started looking into getting a patio poured last summer and much to our frustration, everyone we contacted was solidly booked for the year. We learned the hard way that if you want to get a patio or any type of summer project done, you need to get a hold of the company and get it locked in as early as possible. These companies are incredibly busy once the summer begins and are tackling project after project. So if you begin calling around in June and you do no hear back, it's not that they are being jerks, it is that they have a million other things on their plate."

"Mike and Leo did a great job leveling my front steps taking care not to damage nearby landscaping. They were professional and efficient. They added sand to the poly crack to minimize the color difference where the crack was repaired. They also cleaned up the work area nicely. I would highly recommend Detroit Concrete Leveling."

"The concrete work looks great! The workers were very professional. My only suggestion is to follow up about your appointment the day prior. My only disappointment was that I waited around all day on the day of my scheduled appointment. I called a few times throughout the day of the appointment for the ETA, which I was told each time that the ETA iwas unknown. I was finally told at the end of the day that my appointment needed to be rescheduled to the next day, fortunately, I did not need to be present. The workers showed up first thing in the morning on the rescheduled day and did a great job!"

"Right from the start everything went like "clockwork". Communications and scheduling were timely and accurate. Marsha kept us informed every step of the way. The estimate for the job was fair and reasonable and we signed on and scheduled the job. "I have some level of disappointment because Acculevel was unable to lift the patio back to its original position. That being said, I think the challenges they encountered would have been encountered by anyone else, and some of the other one-man mudjacking operations who wanted to use buckets or wheelbarrows to carry slurry back to my patio probably would have given up earlier. I chose Acculevel because they use foam instead of slurry (which should last much longer), they had a 300 foot hose solving problems with access to the backyard (I live on a steep slope with retaining walls), and I had more confidence selecting them compared to independent one-man operations who do mudjacking. Their price wasn't the highest bid I received but it wasn't the lowest. I thought it was fair given the foam is a higher quality product. The crew actually arrived an hour early, which actually wasn't ideal but not a big deal (a call would have been nice). They worked hard and I suspect they were there much longer than they had originally envisioned. They did a nice job sealing all cracks when they were done with a high-quality crack filler which most of the mudjacking guys told me they don't do. The good crack filler can be messy and difficult to work with so this was a nice little bonus. Although they couldn't get the patio back to where it was, they worked hard to do the best they could without risking damage to the retaining wall. At least with the foam they use, I have confidence it won't sink anymore."

Tom was able to quickly respond and perform an assessment that included alternative solutions to correct the subfloor issue. We are very pleased with his work as our floors look great! "Besides Dr Sweep, we have also asked two other companies to come and inspect our chimney. All three groups gave different comments. One of them suggested rebuilding the chimney for 6 thousand dollars! We talked to some knowledgeable friends and decided to go with Dr Sweep.  <br /> The group that did the tile insulation and crack fixing was great. They were also very professional and courteous. We are happy with the results and have been enjoying the fireplace without any problem this winter. <br />"
