"Paul did a nice job installing the new faucets. He even tried to get rid of some stains on the bathroom countertop left by one of our old faucets! We had a competing quote from another plumber and were surprised at how competitive The Clean Plumbers are. I do wish they would provide rough estimates over the phone though, especially for straightforward jobs like replacing old faucets."

"I called Nathan and he answered right away. He was kind and courteous and very knowledgeable. I called a few other places and he was the only one who could answer my questions and give a free estimate. He came within the hour, replaced our water heater and the piping around it all within the price he first gave me, will definitely use him as our plumber!"

"I had the leak inspection team out for $350 to detect where a leak could be. Then I had to pay $550 to dig down less than 2 feet to get to the pipe. Then $450 to repair the pipe. The technician Mike Ramirez did a good job and kept me informed along the way. It just seemed very expensive to spend $550 to dig a small hole."

"Initially well, both Jess and Flavio were attentive, however as the job went on,customer service dwindled and by the end of the job it was almost impossible to get them to finish the work and there were a few small things paid for which they did not deliver on. Overall the design and work was good, most of the subcontractors were good, but towards the end many noshows for promised work. Do not allow these guys to do any painting, hire your own painters. The painters were beyond horrible. I fired them and then they brought back the SAME painters to complete the job after I raised the issues with Jess and Flavio. I fired them again. Despite the fact that I told them exactly what paint and finish I wanted and had used in the rest of the house and gave them a photograph of the paint can and told them where they could get it, they used a different finish and I have to do it all over again. I contracted them to rewire my entire house as I had aluminum wiring- they did this WITHOUT a permit and then LIED to me about that. They priced me an exorbitant fee to complete the wiring on the 2nd half of the house and only came down in price when I refused and said I would hire someone else finish the work. Of course the fact that the first i/2 done without a permit would have come to light if I had. Hmmmm. It only came to light 1 year later when inspection for another job recently was rejected because of some of their work- I am so angry! In terms of their 1 year warranty- don't expect them to respond to emails, texts or phone calls- they go unanswered. Again, the overall design and work was good but beware! They came in nowhere near the promised finish date, mostly because I could not get them to come out for weeks to complete the job and I was under the gun for a finish date to take care of an urgent family issue, which they were aware of before I hired them and was an important part of even giving them the job. I would never hire them again, they only get a C rating because the actual design is good, however their attention to some the the detail was awful."

"Filtration Direct was the first company to call me back from Angie's List. They came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. Another company called but never took the time to come give me an estimate and I had two other estimates that were pretty much comparable in price but Filtration Direct included extras the other ones didn't. I decided to go with Filtration Direct - they seemed to be very knowledgeable and they took care of me almost immediately when I called them back to do the job. They redirected some pipes so that the water softener would work both at my house and my barn which was awesome. There were some issues with the way my electric was wired but they got it done temporarily so it would work, and then sent back their guy back with the needed parts to get it done within a week (he came in the pouring rain but still got the job done). They hauled off all the old equipment (with the help of my tractor as the salt tank was completely full and solid as a rock), and they also cleaned out my filters and anything that was stained with iron, which was a plus. I was shown how the softener operates and the well tank they put on was much larger (which was badly needed) than the old broken one. I am happy with the water softener and there is virtually no maintenance other than adding salt. It also solved my iron problem as well.
A few days after they put the new electrical box on my water shut off and was not sure if it had to do with the wiring (which is was not). I checked the breaker box and it was fine so I called them back. I got a call back within minutes and a couple hours they came out. It was a bad switch on the well pump. They replaced it and fixed the problem...thankfully as if was Friday late afternoon.
I am very happy with all the work that was done, they were excellent with communication and got back to me very quickly, and overall I give them a top rating. Their prices were fair, they are very experienced, and I feel they went above and beyond which is a nice change from what most companies offer.

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Trilby, FL

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
