"I highly recommend Patriot Pump and Well Repair to all in need of their services. Our water pump stopped working at 1pm on a Sunday. And we got on the phone and started calling numbers left and right. Everyone else either had answering services, voicemail and I had one company tell me they wouldn’t be able to come out until the following day even though I told them we didn’t have running water in our home! Finally called Patriot Pump and We’ll repair and Scott answered which totally threw me off that I was speaking to someone. I tagged team with the hubby and next thing I knew Scott was at our home in 20 mins fixing our issue. Trust me from now on he will be the first person we call if we have anymore pump/well issues. "Filtration Direct was the first company to call me back from Angie's List. They came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. Another company called but never took the time to come give me an estimate and I had two other estimates that were pretty much comparable in price but Filtration Direct included extras the other ones didn't. I decided to go with Filtration Direct - they seemed to be very knowledgeable and they took care of me almost immediately when I called them back to do the job. They redirected some pipes so that the water softener would work both at my house and my barn which was awesome. There were some issues with the way my electric was wired but they got it done temporarily so it would work, and then sent back their guy back with the needed parts to get it done within a week (he came in the pouring rain but still got the job done). They hauled off all the old equipment (with the help of my tractor as the salt tank was completely full and solid as a rock), and they also cleaned out my filters and anything that was stained with iron, which was a plus. I was shown how the softener operates and the well tank they put on was much larger (which was badly needed) than the old broken one. I am happy with the water softener and there is virtually no maintenance other than adding salt. It also solved my iron problem as well. 
A few days after they put the new electrical box on my water shut off and was not sure if it had to do with the wiring (which is was not). I checked the breaker box and it was fine so I called them back. I got a call back within minutes and a couple hours they came out. It was a bad switch on the well pump. They replaced it and fixed the problem...thankfully as if was Friday late afternoon.
I am very happy with all the work that was done, they were excellent with communication and got back to me very quickly, and overall I give them a top rating. Their prices were fair, they are very experienced, and I feel they went above and beyond which is a nice change from what most companies offer.

"Dan called to ask if it was convenient for him to come today to check my system. I really, really appreciate when people call ahead because I have big dogs, and Dan always calls. He arrived about 20 minutes later and checked the salt container and the chlorine reservoir. I mentioned to him that one of the tubes had slipped of place last week but I was able to deal with it. He proceeded to completely disassemble the tubing system, did whatever magic he does, and voila, good as new. He did not charge me for the repair even after I asked him to.  This is truly a conscientious business that cares very much that you are happy with your service. I highly recommend them.

"Had issue with septic tank overflowing when heavy use such as washing multiple loads of laundry. Had 2 other septic tank companies and both immediately went to "you need to replace your drain field". No analysis or testing just straight to the $10 K to $12 K estimates. Then Jeff from Tampa Bay Plumbers came out and explained their process. The end quote for a new drain field was about 4-5 k less depending upon if we had to have a a pump also installed. That was awesome to hear in itself. But first he said that we should do the following, pump out the tank and then get to the distributor box and see if may be something was wrong there. Wow he was going to actually diagnose the problem. Refreshing. So their techs came out the next day, one pumped out the tank while the other dug around the distributor box. Low and behold the box was filled with sludge. The system is over 20 years old. He thoroughly cleaned out the box and tank of sludge and the pipes leading into the drain field. Those too had some sludge about 2 feet from the box but he was able to clear them as well. So although we suspect the drain field may need replacement in the future, we think we have a few more years before that is needed and appreciate a company who wants your business by not jumping to the most expense "fix" when it is NOT necessary. Professionalism and honesty earns them my plumbing and septic work from now on. If you are smart you will always call them to at least get a quote for any of your plumbing needs."

"Plumber was prompt and arrived when scheduled.  He unclogged my bathroom pool toilet.  He then gave me a price for the installation of a laundry tub.  He came the next day and neatly broke through the garage wall to get to the pipes to be able to install  the laundry tub.  This precise cutting of the sheetrock made it possible for my husband to reinstall it  without any problem.  I would recommend this company and will use them again."
