"Went very smoothly! I did a lot of research and compared prices of several transportation companies. I found that United Freight's rates were extremely competitive and were one of the very few companies that could guarantee a three-window in which the vehicle would be shipped. Their online tools could use some updating but I got my down payment receipt and document copies all emailed to me which I appreciated. I would have liked a message letting me know they had picked up the vehicle, but the dealership let me know. I was notified when the delivery was an hour away and when they arrived at my location. Overall, I wanted an insured company that could safely transport my vehicle in a timely manner and they did exactly that. My car was scratch-free and looked flawless. I'm very pleased with this service and would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others!"

"Called roofer and received bid in a very timily manner and once I gave him the go ahead he had completed it within about a week. Workmanship appears to be excellent and he even installed a roof vent which was not in the bid at no charge. The price was not the least expensive bid I received but since his ratings were excellent on Angies List I went with him. "I joined Angie's List to find someone that worked on portable air conditioners.  My brother took the unit apart to get to the blower wheel - but he told me that he didn't think that he could get to the damaged part and even if he did, he wasn't sure he could put the unit back together.  My brother can fix anything, so when he gave up,  I knew that I needed a professional. I liked the reports posted for  "On Call Maintenance", so I called (on a  Saturday) & left a brief message about what I needed.   In a very short time, Steve returned my call & he told me he felt confident that he could replace the part & put the unit back together.  I ordered the blower wheel & received it on the following Wednesday.   I called Steve & made an appointment for the next day at 10AM.  Steve had the part replaced and the unit working within an hour.  He was professional, courteous,  punctual, & returned/answered all of my calls.  My unit works great & Steve even installed the hoses & weatherized the windows better than they were before.  I will definitely call on Steve in the future.  In fact, I have a plumbing problem in my kitchen - I think I'll call him now."

"They were fabulous. We've used them for a lot of stuff. They've built a screened porch and a deck. About 6 months later they came back and painted the house and put in new windows. They put new trim around all the windows on the outside. We took the shutters off and put nice trim around the windows. They had to build the roof on the screened porch too. They do everything really well too. We were stunned at the price. We thought it would be about double what they charged us. They did the whole roof on the inside of the porch with cyprus beams. Part of that is they they installed 2 ceiling fans.  We bought the windows ourselves and they installed them. Our house is small but that porch we put on is humongous. We live out there, we have half of it for eating and half for a work station and seating area. The deck is also large. I have full sized sofa and a lounge chair and another chair. The quality of work, you couldn't have asked for better. They were really easy to work with too. They showed up everyday and worked all day long. They were really good. They picked up all of their stuff, no trash anywhere. I trust them. I would have given them a key to my house."

"Rhett Ellison of Ellison’s Home Improvements is a class act. I live in NC and was charged with finding a North Georgia contractor to design, build and install outside stairrails/balusters for a 1970-something home inhabited by my 80 and 84 year old in-laws, both of whom have balance & walking difficulties. Neither set of steps was built per today’s standards so simply purchasing a kit or similar was not possible. Additionally, this issue was ignored by family members until I involved Rhett. Suddenly, he’s inundated with texts/questions for which I already had answers per our discussions. However, I needed numerous written responses from him so I could forward to these individuals doubting my ability to discuss my in-law’s needs. Rhett has the patience of Job and showed such kindness in walking me thru his ideas and explaining everything to my in-laws until they were comfortable. Rhett met with my in-laws on two separate occasions to confirm their wishes regarding and comfort with the design decisions. His work also involved replacing step with a small deck/stairs. Additionally, he created a step between a living room and a later built sunroom that required a significant step down/up due to height difference & installing two outdoor wrought iron grab bars. He contacted me the same day as I posted an inquiry on Angi’s and within 2 weeks, completed the project. I wish he lived in North Carolina!
