"Trap snapped 2 hours after he left. Unfortunately it didn’t kill instantly and I had to finish the job as both my husband and exterminator not present. Had to put poor critter out of its misery. We are city folks living in country for first time and have a lot to learn. Yet very efficient company that uses traps and chemistry nontoxic to environment and my animals. We also have wasp and ant problems to be addressed later in year. Have great confidence they will help."

"Great. Get smart way surpassed my previous pest control company’s knowledge base. He uses science based methods, not just outdated routines and chemicals which other companies employed to no avail."

"Pointe pest control was the best economical option for ant and pest control I found and they are doing a great job! I like that they treat for pests 3xs per year vs. many others that treat 4 times. And you still get a warranty. Very easy to work with as well!"

"We needed more data as to whether we had bedbugs, so we hired a canine search which indicated that we did not. The problem turned out to have a medical explanation and not a vector problem. My advice is to use everything possible to decide if the problem is really bed bugs. A well trained dog is close to 90% accurate, and add that to physical evidence, i.e., feces stains which are brown, looking in the seams of your mattress, and on your bed frame is important. There are many pictures of evidence online, so do your homework first, then the canine, then the estimates. Try not to panic. The idea of bedbugs is extremely disconcerting and emotional. It is not a disease of unkempt and unclean people. It is becoming more widespread. So try to separate yourself from the image, and think clearly and read reliable websites. Here is the result of our research. You need to educate yourself first, so that you know which questions to ask. Do not forget about using a trained dog. See my review of a canine under "Pest Control.""

"Mike has been doing a great job controlling my mole problem on my 4.5 acres. So far he has gotten 8 of them! I get a new one occasionally now which he comes and takes care of for me. Would recommend to anyone... Thanks Mike!"

"I first contacted EZ Pest Management for bugs on my bedroom window shades.  He gave me an honest answer.  They are from the trees and will go way on their own when the weather cools down, and they did.  Because of his honesty, I called him a few days later and asked him if he could take care of the wasp nests in my backyard.  He came out and did that, but also discovered carpenter ants.  He spent the time to point them out to me.  He came out a third time to spray for the carpenter ants.  Total cost was $85 to take care of the wasp nests, and $300 to spray for carpenter ants.  There is a two year warranty on the carpenter ant treatment.  I will definitely use Erik again.

FAQs for termite pest control service projects in Troutdale, OR

Most termite treatments protect your home for one to two years. Once the chemicals break down, colonies can move back in, so schedule a follow-up application before that window closes. Many pros offer ongoing service plans, but it’s smart to wait a few months to confirm the first round worked before you sign a contract.

If your property sees repeat infestations, ask about a termite bond—an annual agreement that often covers both inspections and any additional treatments.

Drilling into the concrete foundation around your home is not always necessary for termite treatment. While drilling can be highly effective in exterminating subterranean termite colonies, there are alternative methods that work well for termite control.

Drilling is safer than applying ground-level chemicals, which can be hazardous for children and pets, but a thorough termite treatment plan can be achieved without drilling. Consult with a termite professional to determine the best treatment method for your situation.

DIY termite treatment is possible, but its effectiveness in eliminating termite colonies is far inferior to that of professional treatment. DIY methods address only very minor infestations and do not guarantee complete termite control.

A professional termite inspection accurately determines the infestation’s extent, and expert treatments—whether chemical or bait systems—ensure that all termite activity is eradicated and the structure is protected.

The best termite treatment is determined by the termite species, the infestation size, and your budget. Liquid termiticide applied to soil is an effective method for eliminating termites, while termite bait systems provide controlled management.

For severe infestations, gas fumigation or heat tenting delivers thorough extermination solutions. A professional inspection guarantees that the proper treatment is selected to completely eradicate termite activity and secure your home.
