He did initially tried to charge me a little more than the average for the area but after I explained that I had done research for the labor costs and already have materials he got the cost significantly also mention that you found him on Angie's List. I am very pleased with how the floor looks they did a very quick job some very weird layouts because my house is strange though I love its eccentricity. Though it takes a long time to book him because he is usually busy he works very fast, but not sloppily, and the work was completed in approximately 4 days with a small crew of three one of whom was his son. we are almost done with most of our work but I'm a call him back for some minor repairs thing that needs to be completed the only complaint I have is that at least one of the workers is a smoker and I found a few cigarette butts in my yard or in the bushes next to where they were sawing which was not very pleasant. That is a minor complaint though because as contractors go they show up on time and they get the work done and they get the work done well; which, I don't know if you use very many contractors, is unusual and a good thing. Overall I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would suggest them to other people. <br />"

"J R arrived promptly 2/22 and we worked out itemized work order.  He and his crew arrived on schedule next day and went right to work in a knowledgeable manner.  Likewise following 2 days.  I mentioned that I'd also like him to erect purple martin housing unit and he promptly said he'd add it at no additional charge.  When all work was very professionally completed I walked around area with J R and made few final clean-up suggestions and he took care of them immediately.  J R is a very pleasant and accomodating person.  I could not have asked for a better experience.  (Delayed submission of this report is due to my own health problems and is no reflection in any way on J R's excellent service!)"

"We ended up asking the painter to come back and re-do a part of the wall around the bathroom door.  The walls in that room are textured and the texture was really obvious that it didn't match up.  Tommy sent back the painter without any questions and he did a great job fixing it.  Tommy also trimmed and sanded a couple of doors that I had already replaced without charge.  He was very professional and always in great spirits! <br />"

"Overall great. I am quite happy with the work they did. Only thing I could complain about is they were slow to respond on messages to sort out details of the job. But did take the time to explain plan and materials when I asked. Even with the response time it would not stop me from seeking them out again for other general repairs I need around the house."
