"Fred was on time to look over the job and was very pleasant to do business with. However I did not receive his job bid by Wednesday as he had stated. And as of today, Friday, I have had no contact from him, because of this I have decided to go with another company."

"We contracted with CDC Pools in December 2017 for a large ($35K) overhaul of an old diving pool that still had a whip system to clean the bottom, badly cracked cool decking, and a cracked concrete slab. Since the cost of this job was going to be larger than our first home purchase in 1977 (gulp), we wanted to make sure that we hired a skilled, qualified company, that knew materials, could provide helpful design suggestions, and one we could count on the fully complete the job to our satisfaction. After obtaining competitive bids, we decided to go with CDC. Cassie Selles, who contracted the job for CDC, was nothing short of amazing. She knows her company, knows pool remodeling ins and outs, and was able to give us advice on materials. (Artistic pavers vs Travertine, minipebble vs plaster, pool color etc.) Our job began on January 11th and was to be completed by February 28. Due to adept scheduling and crews, our job was complete on February 3rd! (Cassie came out this morning and we added additional paver work to the front of our house!) Here’s our information that will help you as you consider CDC Pools: 1. Bid and pricing: Not the cheapest bid, but competitive, and we felt well worth the expertise and security we would have knowing that company is a long time valley company that would stand behind their work. If you are remodeling, confidence in the company’s expertise is important so that you can address any issue that comes up with an old pool. We had no additional costs because of the careful bidding from CDC. 2. Scheduling and crews: Because of the stable crews, we were extremely pleased with the progress of our project. We watched the paver and chip out crews work very long days and with care for our property. It was always left clean and we had no complaints from neighbors around us. We knew when crews were coming, asked them to use only a designated gate for entrance and exit, and they were respectful of our requests. 3. Job supervision and management: Our supervisor Sergio, Cassie, job foremen, and the CDC office staff were available to answer questions and communicate when we needed them to. Justin, the job foreman for the paver crew, made time to meet with us personally to answer questions about the Artistic Paver material and to address specific drainage issues. As with any job, as property owners, it’s important to make sure you ask questions and understand what is being done and how things are going. CDC was always available to us. We hope this helps you as you consider your pool remodel. It’s a big job, you want it done right and you want a company that will stand behind their work long term. We were very pleased with the process and love our new backyard and pool. Bring on summer 2018! The McFadyens"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. I went there to speak with them about my project and they assisted me with material selection and offered some helpful planting tips. Although I ended up doing the project myself instead of having them come out and do it, I found the plants that I wanted there. <br />"

"At first it appeared everything was spectacular, it looked wonderful, the design appeared great. Then the problems started to happen. We had buffalo grass plugs turning brown and we were told we were over watering. Then we were told we were underwatering. We were using the schedule they provided to the letter and checking moisture by feeling the dirt down to the depth of the root system. At first Sarah was very responsive, but when she figured out that there were real problems which I was not going to drop, her final gesture was to drop off a bag of buffalo grass seed and tell us just throw on the surface of the soil when the monsoons begin, don't rake them in, well anyone could take a look at my yard and know they were just going to wash away. A simple 15 minute Google search on Buffalo Grass showed that studies from the University of Nebraska and Denver showed that the plugs do go dormant 2-4 weeks after planting, which Sarah vehemently denied. They never bothered to see if the soil was appropriate for this native grass, we are on clay, which is absolutely inappropriate for this type of grass. The border they cemented in on a downward slope now creates a lake every time we have a moderate to heavy rainfall, so it drowns the grass completely in that area, so now I either need to call someone in to put a drain that goes under the barrier or break out some of the bricks. We chose them because of their supposed expertise in low water native plants and now we will be having Vista Landscaping redoing 60% of the backyard. We recently had the home appraised and the appraiser wouldn't believe that the bushes, trees and grass were professionally done. I guess that says it all. I am positive that their response will be I didn't take enough care of it, but I have all the correspondence asking if the care they were getting was correct, along with photos."

"I love flagstone and this was some of the most beautiful, well-done flagstone work I've seen. <br /> Tom & the crew were great to work with. It turned out better than I had imagined it would. <br /> If we have any further landscape needs, I'll be using them,. <br />"

"They were good, I like them. The thing that I like about them is that they give an actual quote and we had a landscaping quote so they drew us up like an architectural kind of review that we could submit to the HOA, so they're very thorough."

"The contractor had many wonderful ideas and seemed extremely knowledgeable about his field. The only reason we did not proceed is due to some personal issues unrelated to the job. When I'm ready I'll certainly call him back. <br />"
