"So I used Angie's List to narrow down my 3 main choices for a major exterior home improvement project. I got quotes from the 3, and decided on Make A Choice. It was definitely the 'right' choice. The work was done quickly and professionally. Great care was taken to cause little disturbance to neighbors who are VERY close in proximity to my house. Step 1: Siding: These guys were fast, and I mean fast. They blazed through the demolition of the old siding, vacuum sealed the sides, and put up my new hardy board. Just like that it was done and done right. Then it was painted (well) and the house began to look brand new. Step 2: Soffit: I almost didn't spring for soffit, and that would have been a big mistake. These guys did an amazing job on the soffit which now has the under siding looking amazing!! Most impactful thing I had done. All the neighbors are jealous! Step 3: Porch: I asked for a 'beefier' porch, and that is what I got. Amazing railings and new columns. I had them put a band about a foot down from the top of the columns and they really stand out now. The railing is double thick on the top and they are taller now, and the whole thing is the envy of the neighborhood. I also asked for a 'dental trim' and expected a strip from Home Depot or something. Nope. They custom made it, curved and impactful. Above and beyond. Step 4: Gutters: The gutters they installed go so seamlessly with the soffit that you can barely tell they are there! Beautiful and they put in a complete system where some needed gutters had been left out from the initial house build. The match to the rest of the house is uncanny. Step 5: Door: This they outsourced to a guy who also blew me away with a professional install and removal of my old door. Cleanup was done after each major renovation and at finish and everything was pretty close to "move in" ready. They did destroy a cement fountain, but patched it up so you could hardly tell. (I knew I should have moved that thing out of the way!) The only non-10 out of 10 would be the trim painting on the porch and windows, which got a bit rushed with bad weather, and even that gets a 9-10, with the only little things I could catch being quite 'nit-picky'. Overall, this company delivered in spades on the goods it promised and they were very responsive throughout the whole process. I would 100% use them again without hesitation for any other external house projects!! Priced competitively and delivering results that exceeded my expectations."

They were able to handle the underdeck and hardscape work as well! "Wilfredo is a very professional artist! He knows exactly what needs to be done at every turn. We started out with a rail replacement, and he noted the dangerous situation we had under our deck. He was calm and understanding, and offered many choices of solutions. He built a very strong and beautiful replacement. He even made it wider with more concrete footings. He also added several (22) bolts through the fascia and into the house (finished basement, that he had to cut into the ceiling to repair…can’t even tell it was done from inside! Dry wall and painted!) We are excited to use this for years to come!"

"This is a maintenance free deck that should last my lifetime. On the higher end of the cost scale but I didn't want wood that would need stained or painted. And I especially didn't want decking material that deteriorates after 5 years. Or discolors and gets covered in mold. Very sturdy build. Build team asked me about any issues they ran into and together we worked out a plan. Very happy with the people and the deck."

"Had a Deck put on and kitchen window turned into a sliding glass door. Troy the deck guy was a perfectionist and a true professional. He did impeccable work. He answered any and all questions and worked around weather issues that arouse, etc. For a 1-man crew got the deck done way quicker than expected in just 8 full days. Door also got put in less than a day. The company over all was great and kept up with all communications weather via email or phone and along with follow up dealing with supply issues due to covid overall awesome staff. The crews also had to deal with other projects going on around them such as roof and siding at the same time. Everything went very well and could not be any happier.
