"What i noticed first off was the peace of mind. Rightway Electric assured me they would take care of the problem and they did!! Expertise in their craft Hospitality, timely, detailed Customer satisfaction Awesome team work! I could go on. I am totally satisfied with this company. They saw me thru several days without electricity. It was disconnected on a Monday @7:30a and re- connected Thursday between 7-9a. During this time Right way Electric, furnished generators, and left a team member to be here when the electric company showed up. A phenominal, young man, expert in his knowledge. Courteous and respectful young man. If I could give more stars, i would."

"These guys were great! I had an exterior light out and a bad timer. They fixed it all, explained everything, and were very thorough. Best part, they weren't trying to sell me or uncharge me the whole time."

"We are new to Texas and just built a modular home on some property we had. The first time we hired A&M was to fix problems the original installers made and to repair wires cut by mistake when the internet was being installed. We were so impressed later we hired Mike and his crew to add electricity to our new garage. They put up a panel, lights, and lots of outlets. Everything looks and works great! Would highly recommend A&M Electric."

"If you need any electrical work done you need to hire these people! For me, their bid came in under other competitors, they arrived on time, all workers were very pleasant, worked like a team, wasted no time, got the job done professionally, and cleaned up everything before they left."

"Hired A-1 Plus to repair an electric stove and they did an amazing job. But it was the unexpected electrical emergency service call, that solidified them as my new “go-to-electrician”! Unrelated to the stove repair, The electrical outlet was damaged and flames came out of it and killed all of the power in the entire house. This happened on a Saturday night. I called A-1 plus and came out THAT night to fix the problem. They are professional, very knowledgeable, excellent at their craft and care about the customer. I also felt they are reasonably priced. Hire them! You won’t be disappointed."

FAQs for electrical switches, outlets & fixtures install or repair projects in Tyler, TX

To select and hire an electrician for your light switch installation, start by evaluating candidates as you would for any skilled position. Ask detailed questions, request a written quote, and verify their licensing credentials. This careful screening prevents unexpected fees and ensures every aspect of the installation, including any drywall repairs, complies with code.

A light switch can malfunction due to compromised wiring or overheating conditions. Faulty connections and excess heat diminish the switch’s performance. If you hear crackling, popping, or hissing sounds when toggling the switch, this indicates active electrical faults that pose a safety hazard and demand immediate professional inspection. Prompt attention prevents further damage and ensures reliable operation.

Installing a light switch takes 30 minutes or less, on average. The installation time depends on the switch type, with dimmer switches requiring additional time compared to standard on-off switches. While the hardware replacement might be completed in 15 minutes, it's essential to adhere to safety protocols, like turning off the circuit breaker and verifying there's no power, for a safe and code-compliant installation.
