We're planning on a complete re-do within the next few months, but couldn't survive as is and didn't want an expensive replacement that we'd just rip out in a couple of weeks. I have no doubt that he saved us more on the rehab than we payed for the repair. He also installed a new kitchen faucet while he was there.
