"Working with Hays and Sons was not a good experience. We had water damage and they made repairs without checking with our insurance company so we ended up paying out of pocket. "3 rooms of carpet purchased and installed. it was supposed to be all the same carpet. A piece was damaged and replaced with "the same carpet just a different weight" and the different piece was supposed to be in the smallest bedroom out of sight. What my 73 year old mother received is what is noticeably different, in the main bedroom and 3 seams noticeably different with a walkin closet in the Master bedroom a noticeably different piece of carpet. The replacement piece was NOT in the smallest bedroom as promised. At the store looking at the swatches, my mother could tell the difference, i couldn't. She wanted her money back. I couldn't tell. The salesman said it was the same. I heard the manager on the phone "what's her problem, it's the same". I thought she was wrong and talked her into it. 2 lessons 1: trust your mothers old eyes 2: Gettysburg Wholesale-Carpet saleman and manager are FOS."
