"We have now used fine design two times and would them over and over again. Last September they turned our screened in room "Florida room" into a live able space. Dave, the owner helped us design our favorite room in the house. Adding new walls, floor and siding to the outside of the house that matched the rest of the house! It is now my families favorite room in the house. Then last year we had a terrible leak in our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. I called Dave immediately and he came right over to take a look. Dave worked with us the whole time and met with our insurance company to help us! Having no kitchen with two young boys was super difficult but Dave and his staff were here everyday working diligently. Again, he sat with us and we were able to design our dream kitchen and bathroom. Whenever I had a question he was only a quick phone call or text away! Fine design has such amazing employees and I could not be any happier with the jobs they have done for us!"

"After an extensive investigation taking into account online feedback/reviews and speaking to other construction firms, I decided on Nunez Construction to fully renovate my entire house consisting of three separate apartments. Efren (the owner) was able to fully understand the work required and also suggested additional modifications; some requiring no additional cost which made quite a difference to the appearance and functionality of the units. It was quite evident that he was extremely knowledgeable on all types of challenges and knew exactly how they should be handled which he was able to explain to me in the simplest terms. The company employees some of the most skilled people in the trade in all areas of demolition, construction, painting, and plumbing and I was amazed how well and quickly they were able to complete all the work. Eric (Forman/Project manager) is without a doubt one of the most experienced hands-on people you can have involved and managing the team. Most importantly – as with any project regardless of magnitude, you will experience unforeseen circumstances and require immediate attention and Efren was on-site (usually multiple times) every single day to monitor and update me on the progress and most importantly he would answer his phone every single time I called and address any concerns immediately. "We got an estimate from Robert Remodeling back in March of 2021 for a complete basement renovation. At that time we also pursued additional estimates from well-known and recommended contractors. We were simultaneously getting estimates from siding companies for our entire home and 2 garages. From our first meeting with Rob, we knew that he was the man for BOTH jobs. He continued to meet with us at least 3 more times before his start date on 9/21. During these meetings, Rob reviewed potential problems as well as made sensible and affordable design recommendations aligned with our vision for the space and our family needs. This was the first major home renovation for us since owning our home and we needed someone knowledgeable, skilled, patient, loyal, dog-friendly and most importantly, someone who valued our money and how/where it was spent as much as we did. Rob delivered on all accounts! We can honestly say that he went ABOVE and beyond from day 1. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

It was devine intervention that days after the storm the president of Homes and Beyond was given the wrong address to provide an estimate for a basement remediatioon job in my Rockaway neighborhood. When he knocked on my door, we struck up a conversation. I showed him my basement. He was reluctant to take a downpayment from me because I had never met him before, had no references for him, and he didn't want to spook me. Nevertheless, I had a good feeling. I gave him a deposit which he said he would not cash until I had checked out a few references. I went to the homes where he was in the process of doing work, made a few calls, and liked what I heard. He did an excellent job on the basement gutting and remediation. I then hired him to do the outdoor repairs from falling trees and to do the one floor (including new base molding, sheetrock, insulation and painting) inside my house that had water damage. He is currently in the process of renovating my basement, which includes walls (framing, sheetrocking and some cement skim-coating) floor, ceiling, insulation, etc. All of his workers must be given some kind of orientation because they are all super considerate, very neat, etc. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend Homes and Beyond.

They replaced and installed a medicine cabinet by removing old tiles and replaced with new tiles to accommodate the new one. Patched a wall where a bathroom cabinet was removed.
