"They were very punctual and polite. They were at my home 6 days at week on schedule. I totally trusted them in my home based on a referral. Diaz was very polite also even though he was not on the job very much. There were several items that were broken in my basement. With that being said, I did not have everything moved out before they began. I realize they are not a moving firm. Diaz did come and repair the items that were broken for the most part. A very expensive built in desk was deeply scratched, so now my warranty is invalid. The job itself was done very nice. I did have to call an electrician back to repair some of the outlets that I was told was wired incorrectly. I had to have an outlet moved that I was told that was not up to code. Also, the beams were not spaced properly. They were not either 12 or 18 inches apart. Some were 9 inches and others were 15 inches. Also, my steps were not replaced properly. I now have a small half step that was not there before the job. When I told him about the issue, he said they were put back exactly as they were. Everyone that came into the basement after the job was tripping which never happened within 30 years of me living in my home. The half step is not ideal but the steps were not installed properly. They did an excellent job with painting. The paint looks beautiful. I would hire them again to paint but not for major construction."

"Exterior wood on a bay window and trim around a sliding glass door needed to be replaced as it was rotten in a few places. I decided to have the wood replaced with PVC to avoid rot in the future. In addition, I needed a sliding glass door screen door to have the screen replaced. Dave Lawson from M&L came out initially to understand the work and give me the costs associated with a handyman and the painting. He called a day later to agree to a scheduled date to perform the work. Dave and the handyman arrived as scheduled and went back over the work and began. All the work was performed as expected. The only issue was the screen door replacement as one of the rollers was broken. Since he had already replaced the screen I agreed to use it and it was placed back in the door. My choice. Following the cleanup, Dave showed me the bill which came close to what I had originally expected. Overall I am completely satisfied with the work and cost."
