"Overall, WOW! This is a great company with a great system in place for making a basement you love while saving a lot of money and a ton of headache doing it yourself. We were looking for a company that would let us do some of the finishing work to save money on our basement remodel. Several companies were either uncomfortable with this or priced it high like we were not doing the finishing work ourselves. But this company is set up to save money and time! They have the entire process down to a science and as an amature DIYer, I was able to head up the project. We did run into a couple bumps. Mostly with the drywaller dragging their feet and our cabinets not being ordered on time (twice). Both of which messed with our timeline and were the fault of other contractors, not J and J. We also had a couple of billing issues with J and J (double bill for an item, incorrect billing from the electrician and a bill meant for another customer). I would be extra diligent as a client to check all bills before paying for errors. But in the end, these were easily resolved. They were able to turn around a 1,100 sq ft basement with a full bathroom, extensive wet bar, 2 bedrooms and a living area from studs to finished in around 3 months. Super prompt and quality work. I loved that with a couple exceptions, all the supplies and workers came through our basement windows and did not bother us upstairs. Also, they did not set up a dumpster or porta potty both of which would have violated our HOA. I also loved that they handled all of the filing and permitting needed. They were also very good about making the basement how we wanted it, even when we wanted to change the plans a little (i.e. adding a dishwasher last minute). Dan is great! Everything was very prompt and our basement is an absolutely fabulous living space!!!!"

"I used Liftech for a structural repair and am happy to report that my experience with the company was very positive. My particular job concerned fixing an issue with the wrap-around deck on my house, where the concrete piers supporting the deck had heaved upwards. The core house foundation was stable where the deck attached to the house, but the heaving caused the edge of the deck to move upwards, pulling the overhead soffit away from the house and the deck itself to be out of level 2" across 6'. What made the job challenging was that all deck supports were 12" diameter logs, some 18' long and weighing 1000 lbs. After obtaining 2 estimates it was clear that Liftech offered the correct solution, which was to shore up the deck with temporary supports, remove all logs, deck railings and stairs, remove the original concrete piers, drill and sink helical piers 25' into the hole left by the piers, form and pour new concrete pier caps and then re-install the logs, railings and stairs. Because this was a complex and technically challenging repair, the company owner Darren came out and personally supervised the job. The job began exactly when scheduled, and did not run over the number of days estimated to complete (they were actually done in 7.5 days instead of the 8 estimated). In addition to Darren, the three man crew of Chad, Wesley and Austin were very professional, polite and hard working. I was frankly amazed at how much work they accomplished in such a short amount of time. The end result was exactly what I had hoped for - the deck is now level and sitting on stable supports guaranteed to never heave again. In short, it is clear that Liftech is more than just a concrete stabilization company, and they are fully qualified to handle complex foundation structural issues. I highly recommend this company."
