The problem I had on this occasion was post replacement. The first storm after the roof was replaced produced a leak in one of the bedrooms. They were quick to check and repair the problem, but the leak left a stain on the ceiling which needs to be touched up. Six months and numerous tries later, I can still not get the company to send someone to touch this up. With my wife and I attempting to sell our house, it looks like we will need to hire someone to do what this company should have done. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
