"I bought 3 new carpets from complete flooring. I have three dogs, and their potty training is not perfect. The salesperson recommended dream weaver carpet that comes with a pet stain warranty. The carpets are soft and beautiful and the installers were prompt, neat and did an excellent job. Unfortunately, after a few years my dogs did stain one of the carpets. Patty contacted the carpet company several times and kept me in the loop. She got them to stand by their warranty and just today, complete flooring installed the new carpet today for free. Again the installers were prompt and did a great job. So happy we went with complete flooring (which we found on Angie’s list). Will definitely use them every time I need new carpet! If you get this type of carpet though, be sure to clean it every 18 months with a truck mounted cleaner and keep receipts. We were lucky we had."

"Awesome job! They were super communicative in the estimate and scheduling process. The install crew were all really nice guys who did an amazing job. Our floors look beautiful. We have a stone fireplace and the installers went way above and beyond making the floor sit right against it instead of just grouting the gap. We seriously could not be happier."

"Service was excellent and the man who performed the cleaning was personable and competent. He was thorough and did everything possible to make this a pleasant experience. I would be happy to contact them again to clean my carpets again. <br /> two of the areas had deep stains and the man who did the cleaning tried very hard to remove them but let me know up front that it may be impossible to do do. He was able to clean one are almost completely and the other was greatly reduced. I was very happy with this company. <br />"

"They were excellent. Omar Saavedra was excellent. He installed 3 exterior doors. We have an adobe house so things were very irregular. He is very good. He knew what he was doing. He would explain to me what was going on. They are beautiful. He was on time. He let me know when he was going to be here. He came prepared."

"They were very responsive and helpful.  At first there were some problems with scheduling a representative however there were several employees that were willing to step up and help answer our questions. When we got a representative assigned to us, she was responsive to our questions and did multiple "what ifs" to help us determine what we wanted in style and function. She was willing to schedule several meetings, at our request,  to help work out exactly what we wanted.   She was willing to make changes to meet our changing concepts and the end result was a beautiful and useable new kitchen.  The counter tops were installed as ordered and all cabinets were exactly as ordered.  They made sure all doors and drawers worked perfectly and everything fit as ordered. I would like to add that they completed everything ahead of the scheduled time frame.  This was important to us as the install was completed just prior to Christmas and a house full of family.   I would recommend home depot for there kitchen renovation services without reservation. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Vail, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
