After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. Sam asked a few questions and went right to work. Within ten minutes he had my dryer working again. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed! Then it was time to pay him. When I asked him “how much” he just stood there. How much do you charge for 15 minutes? I felt certain I would have to pay his rate for an hour. What a surprise, he asked me to pay 1/4 hr for his work. I was shocked but very happy. Just shows there there are still some honest repair people who treat others fairly.
