But it ended up the spring is 15k-cycle (realized from reading the invoice). After the broken part was replaced, a new issue came up - the garage door moved but bounced back right away. He insisted that the motor was old and I needed to get a new one. I told him that this issue didn't exist before the fix and it could be something was touched during his fix. We fell into arguments. He wanted to leave with a nonworking garage door or I should get a new motor to replace. I recalled that I had the same issu a long while ago and it was fixed by adjusting the two sensors. He realigned the sensors and finally the garage was working fine. But the experience is unpleasant."

"In this review I am covering two repair experiences I had with Sears Garage Solutions. #1 February, 2020 I had to replace my 13 year old springs. Technician Marcus Keenom, arrived on time, was very courteous, professional and was flexible to come up with a fix to resolve the issue. He pointed out few completely, unrelated, minor issues and fixed them too. His attention to details was very good and I am very happy with teh work. #2 November 2020: The 13 year old Garage Door Opener failed (motor or circuit boards). This time, I asked for Marcus. Marcus, once again did a detailed and thorough job. Overall, I am very happy with Sears Garage Solutions and with Marcus Keenom."

"I had a spring break and cables disconnect on my garage door. The breakage even bent my door at the top where the opener kept pulling after the break. I was told when I made the appointment that 75% of these issues can be fixed. Andy came out and said he could reinforce the bent door with a rail and bigger bracket, but didn't guarantee the gap from it being bent could be fixed (made sense). Within an hour, he had completely fixed the bent door including the gap at the top was GONE and no longer bent. He also did a tune up on my other door. He explained everything he was going to do and showed me how to lube the doors with what and when. He was amazingly fast. Excellent job!"

"I called 3 referrals from Angie’s list. I called Easy Open Door Co., Inc. on a Monday morning and Sherry set up appointment for Randy to come out on Wednesday for measurements & quote. Randy was prompt, professional, gave me the facts without pushing products; answered my questions and left me with brochures and a quote for the choices I made. I called Friday of the same week and the door and garage door opener were installed the following Thursday by Devin, who was also very nice and professional; worked quickly and cleaned up and hauled away the old wood and door. The bottom sides and trim around the door needed to be replaced. So Randy came back and replaced the wood while Devin was preparing the installation. Because Randy could not find matching trim, he routed the pattern in the trim himself so it would match the existing trim which was from when the house was built in the 50’s. I need to paint it myself, but that’s not an issue. I think Randy went above and beyond to make sure the trim matched. I also spoke with Michele who called the day before as a reminder for the installation. Very pleased with this company and the people I dealt with. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a new garage door or if a new garage door opener is needed. They will also service the door and replace the battery back up as needed on the garage door opener. As for the other two referrals I called, the first one I called was rude on the phone and the person they said would call me back never did and the 2nd number I called quoted high on the phone, came out the day after Randy was here, so I already knew how the process would go and the dollar amount more or less, and this person was not professional, verbally padded their prices for the same brochure I already had, unknown to him, and said they’d get back to me with their formal quote once he talked to the installer - I’ve never heard back.
