They helped me with all my flooring and cabinet selections- they really know what works best! All my phone calls to them were returned very quickly. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

He was conscious of my budget and tried to keep me on track. Always prepare for some unexpected hiccups which are common with older homes. But even with this, my timeline was as promised. "Everything went well. Yamin was very responsive. He always texted when they were on their way. The workers worked well and cleaned up after they were done everyday. They power washed the concrete, exterior of the house and deck. The exterior aluminum siding of the house was then painted and deck stained. We also had our railings scraped and repainted. In addition, they fixed some loose pointing on the chimney and a little masonary work on the front of the house. Yamin was very polite and professional, always willing to work with you. His prices also seemed to be fair."
