"Most of it went very smoothly.  The workmen were there on time and worked very efficiently.  They left no mess or debris to be cleaned up.  There was one small glitch when the workman hit a gas line, however, the work was stopped at that point and we called someone to have the problem fixed.  Once it was fixed, the workman came back and finished the job.
Also, Tony at Chesterfield Fence was very responsive and courteous and took the cost of the repair off of our bill immediately.
I would not hesitate to recommend Chesterfield Fence.  We used them because we have several friends that had their fence installed by them and were extremely happy which is why we used them.  The fence is beautiful.  We love the gates that lock with a key as we have dogs and this keeps them from getting out and anyone getting in.
Overall is was a great experience!

"I received 2 other quotes before I contacted him that I absolutely could not do.  I kept getting told that because my home was so old and the door was original to the house that it had to be custom built along with the frame and would cost thousands of dollars.  I just could not accept that.  Richard came out quickly and looked at my door and told me he would have it done within the week and he absolutely did.  He found the parts he needed and replaced the doors and replaced some of the framing within 2 days.  It was a lot of work to do.  He and his other man were very polite and professional and I would use them again.

"Josh and his men did a great job installing 5 new doors and all the baseboard trim on my basement project.  They installed some vinyl flooring in the bathroom as well.  They removed and replaced the failed builder's door on the basement walkout with a new steel door and did the trim around the door inside and out to ensure it is weather-tight and looks very neat and presentable.  They also installed custom trim around two windows in the basement.  All in all they did an excellent job and I would hire them again in an instant.  Thanks Josh!

They did an excellent job of cleaning up all the loose debris, loose nails and such like, afterwards. I'm very happy with my new front steps and the tuckpointing. I was having the interior of my house completely redone and suddenly the painter (different company) didn't want to bother with the ornate balusters on the main staircase.  He said the handcarved cutouts made the job too complicated and cost prohibitive and I should just leave them painted the color they were.

A few months earlier, I had purchased an eight hour "Big Deal" package from Michael's Work through Angie's List, so I gave them a call.  Michael came right over to check out the job and brought his worker, Joe.  I asked Joe if he thought he could get very many of the staircase spindles finished in eight hours and he said, "No problem.  What do you want me to do when I finish the stairs?"  Joe proceeded to do an excellent job on the spindles and then tackled the French doors, which contained multiple 100-year old panes of leaded glass. (Another project my painter had refused.)  Joe's painting was perfect and quick; both Joe and Michael were professional, courteous and very pleasant to deal with.  The prep work and cleanup were both A+.  Bottom line, I wish I had hired Michael's Work to paint my whole house, top to bottom.  Next time I will!
