"My wife and I started a major kitchen remodel on 1-04-2016, the contractor started demolitions on that day and the following week when the freeze occurred followed by heavy rain, we discovered a small leak in the roof just above the kitchen sink area because the ceiling was removed.  I called Warner Roofing and Mike came out to do an inspection.  He said it could be from two different sources, so, he applied some silicone on several shingles and said if the leaking does not stop to call him back.  Two days later the leaking got worse.  So, I called Warners again and they scheduled a work crew to come out the next morning.  A quote of $250 to $350 dollars was given.  The workmen came and replaced a cover and a small section of shingles within 3 hours of arrival.  No more leaks.  I would highly recommend this company and their workers for a job well done.

"I write this almost 2- years after David and his crew replace to roof on my 20 year old roof. The whole are great people all around. Had the roof done in 2-days. No issues, no leaks use a local companies shingles, Malarkey roof Manufacturing. Know the company through their quality manager and can say they make great products and ECO- friendly. "Long story short, hire Raindrop Roofing NW if you have a roofing job you need done right, consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. By contrast: the outfit that replaced the roof on our Dutch Colonial for the previous owners cut corners on the steep mansard slopes. As a result, the new roof which should have lasted 25 years, started failing in three. (I’ve been repairing drooping shingles ever since and have had to learn more about roofing than I ever envisioned or desired.) A few years back we hired a local company with an Angie’s List A-rating to re-shingle the problem slopes, but we had to let them go when we caught them taking the same shortcuts that caused the first roof to fail. Their excuse: the manufacturer’s instructions were excessive. (Yet these were the same instructions they had previously agreed to follow.) It’s worth noting that roofing product warranties are almost always dependent on installation consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. Nonetheless, it took several years to find another company that would agree in writing to do so at an uninflated price. Given the above experiences, we worked closely with Raindrop and watched their work with an eagle eye. They did everything we asked for and beyond! This included making extensive improvements to the roof’s ventilation, especially in the steep mansard regions. Further, the Taylor Metal standing-seam system they applied to the garage and patio looks and functions great. Their final price was consistent with their estimate, and right where it should have been given the size of our house and the materials requested. (Unlike many of their competitors, Raindrop doesn’t gouge the homeowner for requesting standing-seam metal in addition to composite roofing.) Bottom line: next time you’re walking down a street in Portland, look for the abundant tell-tale signs of roof repairs – visible patches of replacement shingles.
