He only came to provide an estimate and see what additional parts might be needed, but he luckily had everything with him and was able to do the pet door installation immediately; I already had the pet door. Also, the pet door is installed in an exterior wall of the house, not a door. So, he had to add wood at the top and bottom of the box, and had to trim some of one of the studs, which is luckily not major load bearing and seems to be there just to attach the exterior trim."
