"I have a 12 year old house built by Pulte. The windows were always problematic and reminded me of the old 60's aluminum sliders that were equivalent to trailer homes. The front wood trim which extended up two stories around my first and second floor bay windows was rotting and I wanted to replace it with a compsite. As this required tearing all of the material off, I decided this would be a perfect time to have the six bay windows replaced as well as a second floor bedroom and a double wide dining room window so that all the front windows matched. Dover used Prism brand windows supplied locally (Avon, OH) by Norandex. I was so impressed with the attention to detail, workmanship, and overall customer service, that after a year had gone by, I invited Dover back at which time I had them replace an additional 15 windows and a Kitchen slider. The experience was exactly the same and I couldn't be happier.
When the remnants of Sandy hit OH this fall, my Dining Room window and the bedroom window above it, both installed in brick, leaked when the 60+ MPH winds hit them head-on. The Dining Room was perhaps the worst and I had to pull back the carpet and padding to dry it. There had been a 1 year warranty on the install and that had just passed by a week. When contacted, Dover was right there even as the storm was subsiding. They honored their warranty, tested and repaired the leak, repainted (and would have replaced had it been required) the drywall which had minor water stains with matching paint they provided , and had a carpet installer out to stretch and tamp the carpet back in place within a couple days.
If I had ANY interior work to be done, I know that I would have NO hestitation to call them back. Everyone from the owner, consultants, field management, and workers are great people. This company REALLY cares about customer satisfaction and getting it done right.
I also can't say enough about the Norandex rep who was there evry step of the way and helped get minor manufactutring issues taken care of immediately without any questions asked.
