"I hired this company to lay wood flooring throughout the house, to refinish the stairs and to replace all banisters and railings. I couldn't be more please with how this project came out. "We chose Design One to remodel our small galley kitchen after meeting with them and seeing their reviews. Initially, they presented as organized and professional. I wish we had asked more questions upfront. The quality of work was poor, especially drywall and basic carpentry skills. The average time spent was 10 hours/week. When they started work, all needed materials were in, yet it took over 7 weeks to complete. Requests for a schedule were evaded. There is no crew it is Rich, and occasionally Linda to assist. Very poor time management at the customer expense. Their lack of transparency regarding certain paperwork was troubling. What should have been a rewarding project became a large disappointment."

They had the best customer service, all of their workers were friendly, clean, on time, and highly respectful. They did all of the correct prep work on the job and they really respected my home and belongings. They used great drop cloths and covered everything! They did almost all of the work in just two days and the entire project was completed in less than a week. Their estimate was right on the money and they worked so hard to keep things right where I needed them to be financially. They came up with creative solutions to my storage needs, designed some cool new corner cabinets, and gave me the greatest deal on the top of the line countertops that I just rave about! Everyone who came into my house was well spoken, super polite, and efficient and knowledgeable. Our experience with Jeremy and his wonderful crew was A+mazing! Their workmanship was excellent, and Jeremy was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. "This was not the experience we had ever imagined we would have with Matrix we could have worked with other companies and spent far less money but we thought we were getting a premium product and at a premium price! We had contracted Matrix in February to finish our basement, our salesman did a very good job taking the time to lay everything out give us our options and meet our vision the follow-up appointment to finalize went well and the gentleman really had a good knowledge of everything that needed to be done. The biggest problem we had was with the project manager and some of the trades that were brought in. The framers and finish carpenters did a wonderful job however the failures were many and project management was substandard for spending over six figures on a project. The damage that was caused to the finished portion of our house, walls, door jams garage door frame and other building errors that were made on electrical and plumbing were not addressed or handled appropriately"
