"I employed Carlos and his team do a complete renovation for me. Carlos was a great salesman and sold me his bungalow package that was an all inclusive price for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. This price was originally very competitive with others and I was told it included all labor, materials and I could choose from any items from his preferred vendors. His original estimate for construction was 2 months. While Carlos subs did a good job, the job took over 5 months, with multiple items taking even longer, it cost approximately 15K more than expected as I was informed that several things I wanted we’re not included in the all in one price, and communication between Carlos, myself and the team was poor where often scheduled times were not met. Lastly I had personal items in my home that were stored in a separate room that was not being renovated that were unexplainably disposed of by his crew. When the workers had to come again to do touch up work they got paint on my couch."

"We are very pleased with the outcome of our guest bathroom project. We converted the bathtub to a walk in shower. The result is a beautiful modern shower that functions as well as it looks. Every person who worked on the project was expert in their specialty and very personable. I highly recommend Island Homes and Renovations for a sure bet on a professional and worthy experience."

"Andrew & his company provided high quality work in renovating my unfinished basement into a finely finished basement. The finished basement now serves as recreation space, storage, laundry room with available future space for a 3/4 bathroom. Andrew and his systematic approach, consistent customer communication, his staff's professionalism and no-nonsense craftsmanship makes him & his team worthy for serious consideration for any major home improvement / renovation project. Everyday he asked if they were any questions. He was accessible via text messaging. He was very clear regarding what I could do to keep the project moving in a timely fashion. And the assigned project was finished in excellent time. His crew started at the time they agreed to and they didn't cut any corners. They were neat & organized. They were not sloppy. Everyday, at the close of business, you could actually see the progression of the project unfold. You really get your money's worth with this company. The crew was courteous and they rarely asked for anything, except for my input regarding personal customizations. If you want the job done correctly the first time in an expeditious fashion, this is company to use. Andrew says what he does, and does what he says. He's upfront and leaves you with no questions. If you need work done and don't know who to trust, Andrew & his Company is reliable, transparent and they excel in executing. I recommend this company to any homeowner who is serious in completing a project for the home."

"We hired Thompson Remodeling to gut renovate 2 apt units we purchased in 2019. The entire project had to be done via phone and email as we live in NY and the projects were in Vero Beach, Fla. Todd was very patient with us and walked us through the entire process.. Job came in on time, beautifully done, and on budget.. we have just signed on with Thompson for another gut reno project which will begin in May, 2021. We are in great hands..(BTW, i am not related to anyone affiliated with Thompson and i think i have only written 2 reviews in my life) sometimes people only write when they want to complain, we couldn't have been happier.."
