"This company was great. It was try number 5, after dealing with hard sells to rip up my basement floor taking hours, upsells, price increases, false warranties, wasting my time, this company was a breath of fresh air. They gave me a price (which was good) over the phone of which they honored. They did not try to upsell me at all, but simply offered me a choice, I could use Epoxy or the foam. They explained why the foam was better, and since had a lifetime warranty on either, we just used the foam. The guy did the work right there on the spot, and was done a few hours later, leaving no mess. We just had a huge rain, and no leaks... dry basement. These guys are the ones to hire... no sales people to waste your time measuring and calculating... just the person who does the work giving you an honest assessment and then doing it. Nice to see some of those still exist!"

"We called Bob to do an estimate on our roof. He explained that he had jobs lined up to be completed before ours, but if we sprang a leak, he would come and tarp it immediately. Fortunately, that didn't happen. As it was July, Bob and his helper showed up quite early in the morning to begin work. Bob explained his work schedule, meaning he would take off in the worst of the afternoon heat and return in the evening to continue. They draped tarps around the house to catch errant nails and shingles as they tore off the old roof. We learned that there are certain detailed tasks that Bob does himself, like flashing around a chimney. He is very particular about the quality of his work which we consider a excellent trait in a workman. The roof was completed in a matter of days and the yard was cleaned up. "<p>Aaron from von Behren Builder met with us to determine what our needs were and promised to provide an estimate.  He was professional and efficient.  I explained that this was not our primary residence and we were looking for a reasonable priced deck with a couple of different price options (i.e. wood vs. composite).  I received an estimate in a timely manner, however, the estimate was way higher than other estimates I had received and there were no options offered other than the composite material.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I have been told by others in the community that von Behren Builder has an excellent reputation for the quality of their work, but due to the high cost of the estimate we received for a relatively simple deck replacement, I will not be using their services.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Thank you for the opportunity to provide this review.</p> <br />"
