"The spring on our garage door opener broke this morning when trying to leave for work. We called and they had Tj one of their technicians out by 12:30 today (same day). He was very professional and got the repairs done quickly. Highly recommend. Thanks Tj for all your help and getting us back to work in a timely manner."

"Alamo Garage Doors really care about their customers. Our door wouldn’t close properly, and they took the time to explain why and how to fix it. Everything was repaired on the spot, and it’s been working perfectly since."

"Brian went over and beyond taking care of our garage door. He was friendly, courteous , answered all of my questions, and provided drums, a side arm and brace (at bottom left side of door). in the price originally quoted. Reviewed what he would do and the warranty before and after the work was completed. They cleaned up all parts after the job was completed. I highly recommend Diamond garage services."

"Quick repair and allowed me to negotiate. Happy with results! Will hire again!"

"Very professional and arrived to fix my garage door on very short notice."

"My old garage door opener's gear broke and the chain consequently came off the track. I called Cincinnati Neighborhood Garage Door services and they responded immediately - sent someone the same afternoon and the service person was very polite, knowledgeable, and seemed experienced. He told me my garage door opener was over 20 years old (which I knew to be true) and that to order the part and repair it would cost almost $200. So, he talked me into installing a new opener to the tune of almost $500.00 - this included adding some new wheels to the garage door which he showed me were quite inadequate and aged and the cause of a lot of noise - these added $80.00 on to the cost. I queried him about any deals and mentioned that I was an Angie's List member. He said that there weren't any Angie's List deals but offered me a 5% senior discount on top of the $125 coupon that he was giving me on the opener. He did a great job on the installation and the door works very well and quietly now! I am very happy with the results. However, after he left, I did decide to take a peek at Angie's list and, what did I discover? Eight deals offered by this company!!!! And one of them would have saved me the cost of the wheels that were installed. So, I called the next business day and complained about this to customer service - and they were amazingly responsive and apologetic - offered to credit the amount of the wheels right away and this brought my bill down to the same amount that I would have paid through Angie's List. So, in the end, I am very happy with this company. I would just say that  their technicians need to be more thoroughly schooled in what deals are available to consumers - but the customer service is excellent and, so far my experience with the company is a very good one. Grade = A

"When I posted the job request on Angie’s List, Shawn (the owner of the company) responded within minutes The other companies, the BIG GARAGE DOOR COMPANIES didn’t bother responding, -at all. My experience with these BIG companies over the years has been that they act like they are doing you a favor, setting up an appointment and showing up. They don’t need your business. Shawn, arrived on time, inspected our 22 year old garage door opener and clearly explained our options. As I expected, it didn’t make sense to repair the old garage door opener. We installed a new garage door opener and it has worked flawlessly since installed. I am pleasantly surprised at how smooth and quiet my new garage door opener is. Also, the additional lighting it provides in my garage nicely lights up the area where my tools and work area is."

"Did a wonderful job replacing my garage door that I accidentally destroyed when the opener fell on the car floor. Then the garage door feel on my car and destroyed the garage door. Car was ok."

"I first contacted Heitmeyer-Handyman to repair a broken window in my son's room. Mike answered the phone promptly and came to my home within a couple of hours to look at the job. He quickly gave me an estimate for the work and we agreed he would return the next day to repair the window. He was as good as his word, arriving the next afternoon ready to work. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up the work area nicely. I was well satisfied with the price and quality of the repair. A couple of weeks later I again contacted Heitmeyer-Handyman to install two storm doors for me. Mike was extremely helpful, giving me advice as to where to purchase the doors and what to look for. We agreed that I would purchase the doors at Home Depot, and he would pick them up and put them on for me. After I bought the doors, I called Mike and we arranged for the work to be done. Again, he arrived on time and ready to work. He picked up the doors, brought them to my home, and then installed them expertly. As with the window, he cleaned up the work area very well. I have no doubt that I will use Heitmeyer-Handyman again in the future. Mike is courteous and professional, he does great work, and his fees are very reasonable. I already have a list of additional jobs I want him to help me with in a few weeks. I give Heitmeyer-Handyman my highest recommendation."
