"<p>Skip showed up right on time to give me a free estimate. He was very friendly and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of sprinkler systems. He went all around my yard and did a very thorough job of evaluating what needed to be done.</p> <p>He told me he would go home and work up an estimate for me and call me later on, which he did. I thought his estimate was very reasonable and we hired him to do the job. We scheduled the date, he showed up right on time and he and his assistant went to work immediately. They completed the whole job in a couple of hours, then he took me around to show me everything that had been done. He also tested all of the sections while I was there with him and even took the time to show me some things about my sprinkler timer that I was unaware of. We were very happy with his work and would not hesitate to hire him again!</p> <br />"

"Great. I needed to have the fitting on the gas line that comes out of the wall updated to be used with a new range and oven. It's an older home and the existing gas line fitting would not work with the new range. The work was completed quickly and correctly -- and that was terrific. And yet, that wasn't the whole value play for me. This range was being installed on December 23 and that's when the problem was found. Facing a Christmas with no range and oven was a real possibility and yet, not surprisingly, it was very difficult to find someone who could address this quickly. The fix was known to be easy yet availability was the problem. And, in fact, I had struck out after calling a half dozen firms on Angie's list trying to find someone who could do this. When I called Armstrong it was the same story: It would be several days before they could get someone out to address the issue. Yet, when I explained the impact of that, the woman from Armstrong services was extremely sensitive to the situation and reworked her tech schedule of get someone in to get it done that day -- within a couple of hours of my request. It's not an exaggeration to say that she saved Christmas. After this experience, I would highly recommend Armstrong."

"Sought to have the service provider help evaluate my sprinkler system and landscape lighting.  All the rep wanted to do was sell me another sprinkler system.  While the guy was an engineer, he wasn't  experienced or qualified to provide the service advertised by the provider. <br />"

"We have been planning to re-landscape our backyard since we moved in 14 years ago. We finally decided to end the procrastination. <br /> We started with collecting bids from several companies that specialize in Pavers, and that also had positive reviews on Yelp/Angie’s List. <br /> Lee’s bid had everything we wanted, at a reasonable price, that did not nickel and dime us, for every little component, like connecting drains, etc. <br /> Don was also very flexible during the project. Always happy to accommodate reasonable changes and additions. We ended up adding a walkway, that I now can’t believe we lived so long with out. The final project was beautiful, 1300 sq feet of pavers, retaining wall, sitting wall, etc. <br /> In addition, Lee worked with my Patio Cover contractor (Don’s Awnings) in order to coordinate permit work, and inspections. If you plan on doing pavers and having a patio cover as well, its best to have the work coordinated. We originally were going to wait a year, but due to the type of work required to place a patio cover on pavers, that would have been a major headache. Glad we did our research, on that issue. <br /> The only thing left, is to have our pavers sealed…something that we plan on having completed, once we have some warmer weather. <br /> Lee was also quick to send out a couple guys to move a drain and recut pavers related to the move, for the patio cover project completion, when I gave him a call. <br /> If i had to be knit picky, my only complaint, is that Lee sometimes takes a day to return calls, while in the planning and kick off process, however, with that said, I would hire him again, with no reservations. <br />"

"First, Mike's crew cleared the border along the lawn with sharp shovels, per the painted lines my contractor had made on the grass. They had to remove roots and rocks and ensure that the dirt area the curbing would lay on was smooth. They worked quickly and professionally. Then, they lay the curbing with the curbing machine, and one of the crew smoothed it with a shaped trowel. Finally, Mike scored the curbing at intervals with a special tool. To lay the straight curbing just shy of my property line, they used a string and posts to ensure a straight line. They shaped and rounded the ends of all the curbing to merge with the sidewalk, newly poured cement paths, and a large rock. They also ensured it was at the proper level for my rather-high sod. Mike and his crew are true artisans, and they take pride in doing beautiful work. Watching them was like watching a well-oiled machine, as each person had their role, and it's obvious they've been doing this as a team for a very long time. They are also very FAST. I would happily use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful cement curbing!"
