And then another quote for the countertops and new sink/faucet + backsplash. We found the cost to be reasonable & gave authorization to get started on the whole shebang! Once the materials were in, they were installed in a timely manner. Adam, the tiler did a fantastic job on the backsplash. And IMO, went above & beyond to get the job done correctly! "The good - completed on time (2 weeks) as promised, rug is cleaner. The bad: horrible, rude, ugly customer interaction. Areas of the carpet are still dirty, not as white clean as the rest of it (not talking about stains), there are stains that almost look like the color bled, the carpet does not lay flat anymore (btw when Olmos Rugs cleaned it is was only $200, laid flat after and was pristine). I am not sure that any effort was made to work on the couple of stains. When I questioned the owner who had told me on the phone he would give me a good price to clean, about the price of $550!!! he said that was what he charged then offered to do it for $450. I believed him (three times) when he said that is what he charged but he was insulting to me when he pulled invoices to shove in front of me and prove it. I should have left then. It is horrible that someone can be so very unhappy with the world and treat others the way that he does. I hope that he finds happiness somewhere. He is not sharing it at his business."
