Since the deck would cover the outside entrance to our basement a trapdoor needed to be built into the floor. The drawings our architect drew had a spot for the door but the design would have been too heavy to open. Dean designed the door so it was both structurally sound and functional. "Eric came soon after we called to give us an estimate and scheduled us based on a timeframe we requested a few weeks out. During that time he got busy so he called ahead and asked if we could push it back a week which was fine with us. Since it was a white wash he put down the stain and had us come check it out before he applied the poly. It was gorgeous! We are so happy with the finished product - the floors are the star of house!
