"They did a great job of removing my existing flooring and installing the new luxury vinyl planks. They arrived on time, completed the job in one day, cleaned up well, and stayed on budget! The owner, Pete, was very patient with me and all of my questions throughout the entire process. He was very responsive to my texts and would even jump on the phone with me to give more detailed responses when needed. I had received other quotes that were more expensive and where the installation would take several days so I was initially concerned when Yates Flooring gave me a lower quote and said it would only take one day but I was very pleased that they upheld their quote and the work was completed on the same day. The floors look beautiful and I'm very pleased and would recommend Yates Flooring to others."

The roofers we hired could not locate the leak and were scheduling out really far which made installing this tile even harder. "I have such mixed feelings about this project. The carpet is VERY nice - good quality, very little shedding (if any), good quality padding. Looked great once installed. My issue was the transition strip installation. It was a MAJOR point during the sale. I made it clear to the sales rep that the ones we had were NASTY (there when we bought the house 10 + yrs ago and not installed properly) and he assured me that they WOULD be replaced, even helped me decide which color (silver or gold). The Installers INSISTED they were not told anything about installing transition strips, and were going put down the SAME NASTY OLD pieces of garbage on that new carpet! No mater how much I insisted, he insisted he was NOT putting in new ones. When I called Customer Service, she wanted the installer to get on the phone with her, but he refused. Suddenly, he says he's going to install the NEW transition strips. Unfortunately, when they pulled up the old strip between the family room & garage, it damaged the door frame at the floor level - so he put THE OLD NASTY STRIP BACK DOWN! Now the garage door won't close properly. By this time, I just wanted them out, so I signed off the install. I will have another contractor come in and repair the door frame (and replace the transition strip). Also had to do paint touch-up all around the base of the walls because the 'kicker' they use to tighten the carpet took the paint off the walls. Not their fault, really - it's painted wall panel, which damages easily, so I just had to suck it up. That being said, the family room carpet looks GREAT. You can tell it's good quality. I got a call from Customer Service asking if I was satisfied, and I told her about my issues. To their credit, she said if I wanted to put in a repair/work order, they would send someone out. The carpet and work is guaranteed for a year. I thanked her and declined - I don't trust them to make it right. The workman were nice (except for the transition issue), competent in installing carpet (even the hallway transition strip looks very nice) - but there was difficulty communicating (very heavy accents - I had to keep asking them to repeat themselves, which is frustrating for ALL concerned), and I don't know that I want Empire trying to fix my door jamb. So, BOTTOM LINE: Good (carpet) install, good carpet quality - take your chances...or not."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."
