"Matt yusufhanoglu and his company Living colors did a phenomenal job in restoring my 1958 ranch house into a gem. The house was empty and in terrible condition on the inside. With the help of his architect Matt was able to present me with multiple choices based on the open floor plan that I wanted in the main living area. This included tearing down an attached room and building a beautiful sunlit addition that extended the kitchen area and added a sun room. Matt and his site lead Carlos also creatively found space to add a full second bathroom to make the house an efficient 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. I can’t say enough about the quality of the work and the amazing interior design selections such as cabinets, windows, flooring and associated hardware that made this house my dream come true."

"We hired General Remodeling Group to renovate our DC home and add master bedroom and mudroom additions. They handled everything from the design and permitting (via their architect), to building the foundation, framing, additions, remodeling a bathroom, widening hallways, installing flooring, drywall, HVAC, electricity, plumbing, installing pavers outside and pouring concrete driveway, installing a wheelchair lift, and more. They handled unexpected setbacks well, communicated effectively during the project, and finished the project on-time and on-budget. I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them to anyone doing a home renovation or addition."

"It was great, we love our extra addition room Thanks to NV Design and Build"

"Sean and his team rebuilt our deck with recycled flooring (vs. the wood that was falling apart), built a beautiful stone patio, built a wood shed, and built a fence around the patio. We couldn't be happier! It's beautiful. Happy to share our experience or photos!"

"I rated AHC a C and a fairer rating would have been somewhere between a B- and a C+. I got a number of estimates for a roof replacement, and their proposal was in the middle. The salespeople were professional and reliable. The work was done in one day and on the date promised, and I was pleased until we experienced our first hard rain one evening and a leak appeared in a sunroom. I called immediately, got a voicemail message and did not hear back from anyone until midday the next day. The leak was finally fixed after two subsequent repair efforts and a good bit of water damage to the ceiling of the sunroom. A month later, and after many emails and myI withholding part of my final payment for the roof, AHC brought in some folks to sand and stain the roof. I fault them for some shoddy workmanship resulting in the leak and then being slow to fix the problem and repair the damage."

"Mason is great- we have used him for three large projects so far and the work is fantastic. We first hired Mason to finish our basement and was immediately impressed by his prompt and professional communication as well as the detailed estimate. We went back and forth on a number of items as we tried to figure out what we wanted to do and Mason was very patient with us and was very clear with any changes we asked him to make. With the exception of some changes we asked to make throughout the project, his initial estimate was very transparent and spot on to the final cost. We were so impressed by Mason and his crew (he has him own people, not subs) that we hired him again to do a complete renovation of our kitchen. This was a much bigger project that involved structural work to remove a wall and replace with a beam and he did not disappoint. We had a lot more opinions regarding how we wanted the kitchen to be done and he was again very patient with us and very clear with his communication. The crew was consistent from the last project and again did fantastic work. Finally we hired Mason a third time to build a new sunroom off the kitchen (formerly a screened in porch) and again he did a great job. We are now looking to do a bathroom remodel and we will hire Mason again in a heartbeat."

"They did a good job. I am happy with the slab they build for me. Price is a lot more reasonable than the other two quotes I got. Highly recommended."

"Jose and his crew did a nice job patching and painting two standard size bedrooms plus some work in the sunroom. In and out in a day and 1/2. Going to have him back to paint kitchen/family room in a couple weeks"

"One of the most responsive and flexible contractors I've ever dealt with. Promptly returned my phone calls and performed lightning fast turnaround (within 1.5 days of visit/assessment). This could have been even quicker, but I encouraged George to take his time! With very reasonable ($ 85 for an upgrade package), prompt turnaround and the specialization in this field (not many in this field) - would not hesitate to hire again or recommend for similar projects. George also has nearly 15 year's experience in the window/door industry, and is familiar with many of the major brands. You will be pleased!!"
